Herramientas y propuestas de innovación basadas en la tecnología de realidad aumentada aplicadas a la literatura infantil y juvenil

espanolEn la sociedad de la informacion en la que nos encontramos inmersos la proliferacion y el auge que estan teniendo hoy en dia dispositivos como smartphone, tablet, phablet se manifiesta en la asuncion de nuevos modelos de aprendizaje, formas de vida, de comunicacion, relaciones y entretenimiento por parte del ciudadano de la nueva era digital. Asi pues, el desarrollo de estrategias para implantar estas nuevas herramientas tecnologicas en el aula supone una oportunidad para replantearnos la practica educativa acorde con las nuevas caracteristicas, demandas y necesidades del alumnado diverso al que se atiende, aprovechando asi las posibilidades que nos ofrecen las tecnologias emergentes como la realidad aumentada (RA) bajo una nueva modalidad de aprendizaje basada en Mobile Learning. En el presente trabajo realizaremos una revision y analisis de aplicaciones moviles basadas en la tecnologia de realidad aumentada para entornos Android e iOs y, posteriormente, presentaremos propuestas de actividades para la implementacion de dicha tecnologia en el abordaje de la literatura infantil y juvenil. EnglishIn our society´s information where we are immersed there is a boom about devices such as smartphone, tablet, phablet. They are reflected in the assumption of new learning models, lifestyles, communication, relationships and entertainment by citizens of the new digital era. Thus, the development of strategies to implement these new technological tools in the classroom is an opportunity to rethink the line educational practice with new features, demands and needs of diverse student. They are attending and take advantage of the possibilities offered by emerging technologies as augmented reality in a new mode of learning based on Mobile Learning. In this paper, we review and analysis of mobile applications based on augmented reality technology developed for Android and iOS environments, and we will present activities for the implementation of this technology for addressing childrens literature.

Learning and improvement of the communicative competence in university students. Research project

This article is the result of a research project conducted during five months with university students from the degree in Primary Education at the University of Malaga. Due to their deficient command over the oral and gestural expressions and looking for the improvement of their communicative competences, several activities were proposed. For example: topic presentations, expositions, role- playing and workshops; in addition to improvisation playing and development of activities related to diverse didactic contexts. Along this research, we create and validate the test used by the students for their self-evaluation. Through it we could know their level of acquisition and improvement of the oral and gestural abilities.

El aprendizaje y la mejora de la competencia comunicativa en alumnos universitarios. Proyecto de investigación

espanolNo hay duda de que existe una importancia creciente de la ensenanza de idiomas en el mundo. Las razones innegables de tal atencion creciente son la globalizacion mundial tradicional debido a la economia internacional, el trabajo humano, los viajes y el turismo y el interes innato de no pocos estudiantes en aprender el idioma per se. EnglishThere is no doubt that there is an increasing importance of language teaching in the world. The undeniable reasons for such increasing attention are the traditional world globalization due to the international economy, the human labor, travel and tourism and the innate interest of not a few students in learning the language per se.La funcion del bibliotecario en la Biblioteca Escolar resulta de todo imprescindible para que este realice una buena seleccion de obras y titulos que sean los adecuados para despertar el interes lector en los jovenes estudiantes. Partiendo del concepto de canon literario entendido este como una seleccion subjetiva de textos literarios, en este articulo proponemos un conjunto de obras de literatura infantil y juvenil escritas en espanol y portugues, publicadas entre 2005 y 2015, que puede formar parte de la Biblioteca Escolar por dos motivos fundamentales: por un lado, se trata de publicaciones actuales; por otro, con cada una de ellas se puede despertar el gusto por la lectura de unos textos escritos explicitamente para el publico infantil y juvenil. Las obras seleccionadas las agrupamos, como sostiene la bibliografia actual sobre esta cuestion, en tres generos: cuento y album ilustrado, poesia y teatro.espanolJuan de Robles es uno de los mas brillantes humanistas de nuestro Siglo de Oro, entre cuyas obras destaca El culto sevillano (1631). En este trabajo se analizan sus ideas educativas, centradas en la relacion entre la ortografia y el aprendizaje de la escritura. Entre las ideas pedagogicas de Juan de Robles es muy relevante el rechazo vehemente de la ortografia fonetica, entre otros motivos, porque no favorecia el aprendizaje de la lectura y de la escritura; en consecuencia, censura la creacion de nuevas letras y de un nuevo orden para el alfabeto espanol. Los ortografos defensores de la ortografia fonetica en el siglo XVII argumentaban que la nueva escritura permitiria a los ninos aprender a leer y a escribir con mas rapidez y facilidad; asi como que la creacion de nuevas letras y el establecimiento de un nuevo orden del alfabeto facilitarian su ensenanza. Frente a estas pretensiones, Juan de Robles defendio el alfabeto tradicional y la ortografia etimologica de origen latino porque eran los instrumentos adecuados para la alfabetizacion en nuestra lengua. Tambien critica los colegios jesuitas y la Ratio Studiorum; las principales discrepancias entre la pedagogia de la Compania de Jesus y las ideas educativas de Juan de Robles podrian concretarse en la primacia del espanol sobre el latin, y en el uso de cuentos y refranes populares para la educacion en El culto sevillano. En conclusion, con la obra de Juan de Robles se incorpora definitivamente el argumento pedagogico que relaciona la ortografia y la gramatica espanolas con el aprendizaje de la lectura y de la escritura a la polemica sobre la ortografia espanola del Siglo de Oro, en defensa de la ortografia etimologica frente a las pretensiones de imponer una ortografia fonetica en el primer tercio del siglo XVII. EnglishJuan de Robles is considered one of the main humanists in the Spanish Golden Century. The most important of his works is El culto sevillano (1631). This paper focuses on the educational ideals in Robles´s works and the relationships between spelling and teaching of reading. By examining Robles´s pedagogical references, one prominent idea is emphasized: teaching of reading aren´t encouraged by phonetic spelling. Consequently, new letters of the Spanish alphabet and new alphabetical order have been rejected. The grammarians who defended phonetic spelling assert the new letters help Spanish children to learn to read faster and better than the traditional literacy. Letter names and alphabetical order are also changed to facilitate literacy learning. In contrast, traditional alphabet and etymological spelling are reclaimed by Juan de Robles for teaching reading and writing, because the phonetic spelling had slowed down the learning of literacy. Robles also criticizes Jesuit schools and Ratio Studiorum. The primacy of Spanish over Latin and the use of tales and proverbs for education are the major discrepancies between Robles and Jesuit pedagogy. The results of this paper show that pedagogic arguments that link Spanish grammar and spelling with teaching of reading and writing in the Spanish Golden Century are incorporated into the controversy over Spanish orthography reform also to defend traditional spelling around the first third of the seventeenth century.

El “Plan Decenal de Educación”. Proyecto para la mejora del sistema educativo de Puerto Rico

The current educational system in Puerto Rico is trying to rise from a deep educational crisis. It has an index of abandon of around 40%, and every nine up to ten schools are under development plans, due to their students haven’t achieved the goals established by the federal law No Child Left Behind. The politicization and privatization of the education among last years have demoralized both teachers and students, who in addition suffered a lack of the infrastructures and tools needed to teach and learn. To alleviate this situation the current Decennial Plan of Education has been developed since a few years until now. A project agreed by the educative community, parents and students, and which expects, from this year 2014, to carry on main changes into the educational system, such as the implantation of the Montessori model in Primary School or the depoliticization of the education.
