Juan Carlos Osorio Gómez; Juan Pablo Orejuela Cabrera

Juan Pablo Orejuela Cabrera

in the present paper, a methodology based on stochastic petri nets is proposed to measure the impact caused by the capacity constraints of productive factors on the level of service in mass-produced restaurants. The system under study is identified and a discrete simulation model based on Stochastic Petri Nets is developed, which considers the most representative components and characteristics of the system and the interrelations between them. The test is performed in a restaurant that serves more than 4,500 lunches on day, where the impact of the production and service stages can be identified and the most critical and its effects were characterized

Beekeeping, which etymologically means the art of raising bees, has its foundation in the knowledge and understanding of the bee that however remain wild, must develop a management and control. The literature on beekeeping is quite scarce in our discipline, so it is important to contribute to the growing interest in our country is waking activity. However the progress of the issue not be to the growing interest in our country. However the progress of the issue must not to be Ignored, the reality of most of the small fields, at least for now, make impossible the application of a great technology. For this reason the figure of a management accounting, is enlarged to allow an improvement of the quality of the information to achieve coherent decisions. The case presented, allows to observe the behavior of costs, taking the variables from the harvesting or extraction of products. It is important to note that interrelations between physical and monetary magnitudes, will lead us to the return on the invested capital, and productivity through lot of beehives, as measures of efficiency in the use of factors of production. The theme has worked as joint costs, to determine with clarity the value of honey like a main product honey, sick values of each of the by-products.The analysis of the impact of political violence in the governance of the municipality of Ocana, allows to recognize the existing relation between the different generating agents of violence and his incident in the levels of governance, since the violence generates an enormous uncertainty about the future, slows investment and innovation, and the private initiative loses motivation, at a high cost to society. The methodology was developed under the quantitative approach, with a level of explanatory research and design a documentary as a means of analysis and study model was used Impact Assessment. The results product of the analysis of the counterfoil of crossed impact demonstrated that the variables: Presence of armed illegal groups, absence of the state, drug trafficking, illicit crops, population displacement victims of violence and corruption are the phenomena that affect development processes local.

Methodology to determine the installed capacity of an academic program

Pablo César Manyoma Velásquez; Juan Pablo Orejuela Cabrera; Cristiam Andrés Gil González

Measuring capacity is a major problem, especially in service organizations because of its complexity and the lack of research on this topic at these kinds of organizations. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to discuss a methodology for measuring the capacity of an university by focusing on an academic unit. To this end, this research study determines the available capacity of an academic program and the use of resources by a typical student, and then the relation between these two aspects. The proposal is validated for an undergraduate program, generating a fairly good estimate of the number of students who can be served at any given time.Measuring capacity is a major problem, especially in service organizations because of its complexity and the lack of research on this topic at these kinds of organizations.
