EnglishGeographical Indications (GIs), linked to its typicality, stimulate the valuation of land resources and the emergence of new niche markets. In turn, the relationship between the producers in a region, can also lead to the establishment of clusters considered as a possible development strategy and / or economic strength of a region. This article aims to determine whether the recognition of a GI can be a driver instrument for the formation of a cluster in certain regions. In a second step, the objective is to also indicate whether a group of recognized and nearby geographical indications can direct a second level of organization of a cluster, with specialization of geographical indications, forming a cluster of IG. The method employed is a qualitative and descriptive research allowing the approach of social life. As for the means of investigation is classified as literature. Thus, from the analysis and considering the evaluated bibliographic data, it could be said that in this context the Provenance indication of the Valley of the Grape Goethe may have contributed to the induction of incipient enoturisticos cluster and wine that has been observed in the defined region.
