Characteristics of Thin Glass Window Printing Tube

厚さ約100μmのガラスをフェースプレートとする薄窓記録管を開発した.この記録管は, 記録媒体をフェースプレートに密着して記録するので, 光利用率は非常に高く, 通常の飛点走査管とF=0.95のレンズを組合せ, 1 : 1に結像した場合に比し, 約20倍であり, 大面積の高速記録が可能である.また, フェースプレートの厚さが非常に薄いため, 像の劣化もほとんどなく, 5本/mm (ビーム電流30μA) 以上の解像度が得られた.これらのくわしい特性とその測定法を中心に述べ, テレビ画像の記録例も示した.
