FACTOR ANALYSIS OF FOREIGN MAUER GETTING INTO PLASTIC PACKAGING WASTE

Satoshi Shiomi; Kazuko Nakano; Taira Ozaki; Yasuhiko Wada

Proposed Recyclability System for Products

Kazuko Nakano

The recyclability system is a social system which involves technical evaluation of products and intended to achieve a recycling society. The basic idea behind this system is recognition that recycle is the first priority task today. Clearly, the natural resources are not limitless. In fifty years, the current society dependent on the virgin resources will be replaced by a new society basically dependent on reused resources. We are at a turning point at which we have to establish a social system which encourages highly recyclable products in order to reduce wasted resources as much as possible and preserve the virgin resources. The recyclability system, requiring participation of manufacturers, consumers and the government, realizes such a social system.
