A band-stop filter with wide stop band using T-shaped stepped impedance resonator and L-shaped open stub

In this paper, the proposed band stop filter (BSF) with wide stop-band band using open stub using T-shaped stepped impedance resonator (SIR) is demonstrated. Then, the shunted open stub is connected to SIR part in which low impedance structure. The, SIR and shunted open stub has low insertion loss and wide bandwidth performance. At the same time, the unbalance quad-band BSF with L-shaped open stub is suggested which is connected to shunted open stub it is generated various bandwidth in the f1 to f4, respectively. Then, the L-shaped open stub is candidate the n-band performance at the BSF. The proposed BSF is applied to transmission and receiving parts in the RF-system and the proposed devices will be possible to mass production due to planar structure.
