Replacement of Ovulation by LH or LHRH Injection into Hens Pretreated with Aminoglutethimide

本研究は,産卵鶏における連産内中央卵の排卵前24-12時間(排卵周期の前半)の血中progesterone(P4), testosterone (T), estradiol-17β(E2)の変動を明らかにするとともに,排卵前24時間にAminoglutethimide(AG)を投与してステロイドを減少させた後,羊LH,mLHRHを投与し,排卵の反応性を検討した.すなわち,排卵周期の前半に,血中P4とE2濃度に有意な変動が認められたが,Tに関する変動は認められなかった。また,排卵前24時間100mgのAGを投与した結果,P4,T,E2濃度は有意に減少し,全例(8/8羽)で排卵が抑制された.一方,排卵前12時間のLHまたはLHRHの投与は,全例(3/3,5/5)に早期の排卵を誘起した.LH投与後の血中P4濃度は,LHRH投与に比べて,2時間早くピークに達した.また,ホルモン投与から放卵および排卵までの時間は,LHRH投与に比較してLH投与後が明らかに短かった.さらに,同時間にLHを投与したAG前処理鶏においても,全例に排卵の誘起がみられた.一方,LHRHを投与したAG前処理鶏における排卵率は,わずかに20%であった.ホルモン投与後,排卵を生じたAG前処理鶏で,血中P4濃度の明らかな上昇がみられたが,排卵しなかったAG-LHRH処理鶏は,有意なP4の増加はみられなかった.さらに,AG処理後にLHRHを投与した鶏では,LHRH投与後の血中LH濃度が排卵の有無にかかわらず,同様に増加した.したがって,AG-LHRH処理鶏における排卵率の低下は,下垂体からのLH放出の低下に依るものではないことが指摘された.
