A new subtribe Febraina subtr.n. is established with Febra Clark designated as the type genus. Cladistic analysis based on morphological characters is carried out to reveal the composition of a new subtribe and to test its monophyly. Subtribe includes the following genera: Chilocoristes Weise; Halticorcus Lea; Setsaltica Samuelson; Maaltica Samuelson; Axillofebra Samuelson; Profebra Samuelson. Bionomical features of the genera of the subtribe are summarised. The syndrome of hemisphery is recorded for the genera of the subtribe, and morphological transformation resulting in hemisphery is described and discussed. Correspondence between direction of morphological transformation, phylogenetic arrangement of genera, and distributional pattern is recorded and discussed.

An annotated list of species of the genus Psylliodes from Russia and neighboring countries is presented. The list embraces the territory of the former USSR and Mongolia and includes 65 species and 2 subspecies of 3 subgenera and 21 species groups. Among these, records of 56 species in the territory have been confirmed, and records of 8 species are probable or remain not confirmed. For each species, the synonymy, differential diagnosis, published data on the host plants, bionomy, and distribution are presented, and references to the essential publications are given.

Six new species of the genus Psylliodes Latr. are described from the Palaearctic Region. P. concolor sp. n. from Georgia and P. diversicolor sp. n. from Turkey belong to the luteolus species-group. P. amurensis sp. n. and P. laxus sp. n. from the Russian Far East are included in the punctifrons species-group. P. submontanus sp. n. from the North Caucasus is provisionally included in the napi species-group, but it is similar to P. ozisiki Leon. et Arnold from the cupreus species-group. P. insularis sp. n. from the Canaries belongs to the chrysocephalus species-group.

Psyllototus doeberli sp. nov., a second species of the paleoendemic genus is described. This is the first named species of Alticini from the Upper Eocene Baltic amber of Yantarny, Kaliningrad region, Russia. A checklist of known Alticini from fossil resins is provided.

Abstract. A new flea beetle, Aeschrocnemis turcica sp. nov. from Southwest Turkey is described and illustrated. The new species is compared with the closely related species, Aeschrocnemis whiteheadi (Warchałowski, 1998), occurring in Turkey. They can be easily distinguished by differences in colour, the shape of aedeagus and prothorax, the pronotal punctation, male tarsi, and the fifth abdominal sternite.

In the current paper the first fossil representatives of leaf-beetles from the subfamily Lamprosomatinae (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) are described and illustrated from Upper Eocene Baltic amber: Succinoomorphus warchalowskii gen. et sp. nov., Archelamprosomius balticus gen. et sp. nov., and Archelamprosomius kirejtshuki sp. nov. A key to fossil Lamprosomatinae is provided.

An illustrated key to subgenera, species-groups, and species of Psylliodes Latreille from all republics of the former USSR and Mongolia is given. A total of 62 species are included in the key, among which 55 have been recorded from this territory.

The composition of the subtribe Manobiina Bechyne et Bechyne, 1975 is reconsidered based on cladistic analysis of morphological characters. The following genera are retained: Alema Sharp, 1876, Analema Samuelson, 1973, Eudoliamorpha Scherer, 1989, Exoceras Jacoby, 1891, Leptophysa Baly, 1877, Lipromela Chen, 1933, Lipromima Heikertinger, 1924, Lipromorpha Chujo et Kimoto, 1960, Liprus Motschulsky, 1860, Manobia Jacoby, 1885, Pseudoliprus Chujo et Kimoto, 1960, and Taiwanoliprus Komiya, 2006. A description of the subtribe Manobiina, diagnosis and key to genera are given. A morphological analysis of the genera attributed to the subtribe is provided and discussed. A possible fossil representative of Manobiina is recorded from Late Eocene of Rovno amber. A new combination is proposed: Leptophysa trinitatis (Bryant, 1927) = Exoceras trinitatis (Bryant, 1927) comb.n. The lectotype of Liprus punctatostriatus Motschulsky, 1860 is designated.
