Abstract Species of the genus Lathrobium Gravenhorst from Longwangshan Mountain, Zhejiang, East China are studied. A total of five species are recognized, among which three are described here as new: Lathrobium lingae sp. n., Lathrobium longwangshanense sp. n. and Lathrobium uncum sp. n., one species was unidentified and the female of Lathrobium tianmushanense Watanabe is newly reported. All of these species are illustrated and keyed.

A new species of the insect order Zoraptera, Zorotypus hainanensis sp. n., is described from southern China based on apterous adults, which represents a fourth species of the genus in China. Additional collection data for Z. medoensis Hwang in Xizang (= Tibet) is provided. Illustrations of the major diagnostic features of both the new species and Z. medoensis are provided, and their taxonomic placements are briefly discussed.

Abstract Seven new species of the genus Lobrathium Mulsant & Rey from China are described and illustrated: Lobrathium anatinum Li & Li, sp. n. (Guangxi), Lobrathium diaoluoense Li & Li, sp. n. (Hainan), Lobrathium dufui Li & Li, sp. n. (Hubei), Lobrathium lirunyui Li & Li, sp. n. (Guizhou), Lobrathium pengi Li & Li, sp. n. (Guangxi), Lobrathium quyuani Li & Li, sp. n. (Hubei) and Lobrathium uncinatum Li & Li, sp. n. (Qinghai). A recent key to the species of mainland China is modified to accommodate the new species. New locality data are provided for eleven species.

Abstract Three new species of the genus Lathrobium Gravenhorst from Jiulongshan Natural Reserve, Zhejiang, East China, Lathrobium jiulongshanense sp. n., Lathrobium sheni sp. n. and Lathrobium zhaotiexiongi sp. n. are described and illustrated. A key to the Lathrobium species from Zhejiang Province is provided.

Abstract Lobrathium fuscoguttatum sp. n. (type locality: Guangxi) is described and illustrated. The latest key to the Lobrathium species of mainland China is modified to include the new species. Additional data are provided for six previously described species.

Syndicus (s. str.) jaloszynskii Yin and Song, new species is described from Fujian and Zhejiang, East China. All material was collected in rotten woods. The habitus of both sexes, aedeagus, and spermatheca are illustrated. The new species can be readily separated from all known congeners by the strikingly large body size, the structure of aedeagal endophallus, and the form of spermatheca. This is the first species of the nominotypical subgenus of Syndicus known to occur in China.

Abstract Eight apterous species of the paederine genus Lathrobium Gravenhorst, 1802 from the Chinese province Sichuan are described, illustrated, and distinguished from closely related and/or geographically close congeners: Lathrobium erlangense Peng & Li sp. n. (Erlang Shan), Lathrobium blandum Peng & Li sp. n. (Labahe N. R.), Lathrobium yelense Peng & Li sp. n. (Yele), Lathrobium obscurum Peng & Li sp. n. (Yele), Lathrobium yinziweii Peng & Li sp. n. (Yele), Lathrobium illustre Peng & Li sp. n. (Yele), Lathrobium micangense Peng & Li sp. n. (Micang Shan) and Lathrobium agglutinatum Assing & Peng sp. n. (Qingcheng Shan). The total number of described Lathrobium species from Sichuan now stands at 39, that of mainland China at 165.

Abstract Two new species, Pselaphodes linae Yin & Li, sp. n. (Hainan, Fujian) and Pselaphodes shii Yin & Li, sp. n. (Hainan) are described from South China. Taiwanophodes minor Hlaváč is reported from outside Taiwan for the first time. Illustrations of major diagnostic features are provided for all treated taxa. The latest key to Chinese Pselaphodes is modified to include the new species.
