Numerical simulation of rotating-cage bio-reactor based on dynamic mesh coupled two-phase flow

The cage bio-reactor is a new high-efficient sewage treatment reactor. The flowing inside of reactor influences the sewage treatment effect of reactor so numerical simulation is adopted to analyze the flowing inside of reactor in an attempt to identify the factors that influence the effect of sewage treatment, and provides the data for the following structure optimization of bio-reactor. In this paper, a coupled dynamic mesh with two-phase flow is used to analyze the hydrodynamic characteristic of the rotating-cage bio-reactor; the computation results show that the air flow enters into the bio-reactor, and then it rises toward right, bumps into the cage wall with the anti-clockwise rotation, scatters, and forms two back-flows in the upper of the bio-reactor. The backflow center has the tendency to form cavity; however, under the central shaft, the air flow does not disperse, where the volume fraction of the gas phase is low.

Numerical Simulation of Benzene Flow Indoor of Car-Body

The decorative material in automobile compartment sends out Benzene to cause the harm for health of the crew member, studies low of Benzene transportation in automobile compartment is precondition for formulating the control measures. In the present study we uses the multi-component model to numerical simulate status that decorative material on the chair sending out benzene, and analyze different ventilation modes impact to concentration of benzene in automobile compartment. The computation results show that benzene sent out from material on chair surface accumulates in the vehicle compartment, the air conditioning ventilates has affects greatly to the benzene transportation, when the air flow velocity increases, benzene concentration in the vehicle compartment drop universally.

Curve Reconstruction of Turbulence Motion Locus Based on Image Projection Transformation and Light Stream Vector

Curve reconstruction method of turbulence motion locus is investigated. Through tracing particles be equally-distributed scattered into flow field and each particle’s movement has been shot from different orientations in continuous time-points, thus sequential conjugate images have been obtained. On the basis of positioning these particles in each relative coordinate system, relationship of image projecting transformation is established to calculate their absolute three-dimensional coordinates in each time-point. Combining with light stream vector, tracing particles’ motion vectors in each instantaneous moment can be deducted. Finally B-spline spatial curve of turbulence motion locus is fitted. Programming experiments and error analysis indicate that the accurate locus curve can be obtained, turbulence’s mathematical feature and motion discipline are clearly displayed, and this method provides theoretical foundation and technical preparation for following turbulence research.

IC Noise Image Recovery Based on Three-Dimensional Energy Optimization Modeling and Surface Fairing

Requirement of image recovery in IC detection is rising. IC noise image recovery technology based on three-dimensional energy optimization modeling and surface fairing is investigated. By spatial vector’s deduction of image’s noise point, modeling and fairing of IC image noise’s surface from three-dimensional information is achieved. Through surface extraction and fairing that smooth image plane can be obtained. Thus image recovery process is finished. Experiment and comparison prove that clear and stable IC recovery image can be gotten.
