High-dimensional multi-particle cat-like state teleportation

Zeng Bei; Liu Xiao-Shu; Li Yan-Song; Long Gui-Lu

Two kinds of M-particle d-dimensional Schmidt-form entangled state teleportation protocols are presented. In the first protocol, the teleportation is achieved by d-dimensional Bell-basis measurements, while in the second protocol it is realized by d-dimensional GHZ-basis measurement.

A Theoretical Scheme for Multi-user Quantum Key Distribution with N Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Pairs on a Passive Optical Network

Deng Fu-Guo; Liu Xiao-Shu; Ma Ying-Jun; Xiao Li; Long Gui-Lu

We propose a theoretical scheme for any-to-any multi-user quantum key distribution on a passive optical network with ordered N Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen pairs. This scheme is safe and more efficient than those with single photons. Its efficiency approaches 100% in the limit that the number of pairs used in the eavesdropping check becomes negligible. It also has high capacity and is convenient for users.

Bang-bang control suppression of amplitude damping in a three-level atom

Cao Wan-Cang; Liu Xiao-Shu; Bai Hong-Bo; Long Gui-Lu

By using quantum bang-bang control technique, we studied the suppression of amplitude damping, or energy dissipation, in a three-level atom in various configurations. We have explicitly given the bang-bang control groups in three different configurations, and the pulse sequences for these bang-bang control operations.

Decoupling Bang-Bang Group for Adiabatic Decoherence Control in a Three-Level Atom*

Liu Xiao-Shu; Wu Re-bing; Liu Yang; Liu Wen-Zhang; Long Gui-Lu

In this paper, we study the control problem of adiabatic decoherence in a three-level atom. We will find the decoupling bang-bang group for various configurations, including the V configuration and the cascade type of three-level atom subjected to adiabatic decoherence. We also give the programs to design a sequence of periodic twinborn pulses to suppress the decoherence.

General Decoherence Suppression in Three-Level Atom in V- and Ξ-Configurations

Wang Yan-Hui; Liu Xiao-Shu; Ruan Dong; Long Gui-Lu

In this paper, we present the decoupling bang-bang (BB) twin-born pulses to suppress the general decoherence, both amplitude and phase decoherence, in a three-level atom in V- and Ξ-configurations. We give the exact sequence of periodic twinborn pulses in such systems.

Suppression of Amplitude Decoherence in Arbitrary n-Level Atom in ≡-Configuration with Bang-Bang Controls

Wang Yan-Hui; Liu Xiao-Shu; Long Gui Lu

In this paper, we give Bang–Bang (BB) decoupling schemes to suppress the amplitude decoherence in the five- and six-level atom systems in Ξ-configuration. We generalize this scheme to the arbitrary level atom system in Ξ-configuration. The corresponding decoupling operators are given explicitly.

Suppression of Phase and Amplitude Damping Decoherence in a Three-Level Atom in Λ-Configuration Using Bang-Bang Controls

Wang Yan-Hui; Liu Xiao-Shu; Long Gui-Lu

In this paper, we present decoupling bang-bang operations for the suppression of general decoherence, both amplitude and phase damping, in a three-level system in Λ-configuration. We give a program to design a sequence of periodic twinborn pulses to suppress the decoherence in such the system.

Simultaneous space and time synchronization using shared entangled qubits

Liu Xiao-Shu; Long Gui-Lu; Tong Dian-Min

This paper generalizes the quantum clock synchronization protocol of Josza, et al., [Richard Jozsa, et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 85 (2000) 2010] to synchronize space and time simultaneously.

A remote quantum adding machine

Zhang Sheng-Xing; Long Gui-Lu; Liu Xiao-Shu

We design a scheme to perform additions of N remote addends. This adder is useful for some quantum information processing purposes, such as statistics and multi-party quantum game. The quantum remote adder is constructed by using a multi-party superdense coding scheme.
