Permanent increase of energy prices leads to the construction of new houses in the low-energy and passive standard. In particular, the development of wooden buildings in recent years has experienced a boom and their positive qualities are coming to the attention of potential investors. Thanks to this the new technologies of construction are still being developed and the new wood-based materials tested. All of these materials and technologies must follow the standards which tightened the thermal technical requirements.

The society lays stress on todays buildings, particularly in terms of energy-efficient buildings and ecology of buildings. Accordingly, not only from a technical technical point of view, it is important to give sufficient attention to the foundations of building. The popular way of foundation of lightweight buildings is due to the growing interest in timber houses the foundation above a ventilated air gap so called Crawl Space. The article deals with the temperature and humidity field which is located in the air gap under the construction of wooden building in the climatic conditions of the Czech Republic.

This article presents the results of long-term research of airborne sound insulation of a dividing wall. Specifically it shows how strong effect on the acoustic properties of the dividing walls has the line installation of technical equipment of building. The experimental structure was built from shaped hollow bricks where the influence of structural damage is in terms of the noise propagation essential. This type of structure was selected because it is one of the most commonly used structural systems and the acoustic properties are still neglected aspect.

The article deals with the issue of wooden buildings in terms of their critical details. Specifically, the details such as the bottom corner in connection with the foundation and the external wall corners or at the level of spatial bracing. Incorrectly performed details may considerably affect the properties of the whole structure both in terms of thermal technical engineering and mechanical stability. In particular, the condensation of water vapor in the construction may cause serious problems.

The increase in energy prices resulted in the formation of new houses in the low-energy and passive standard. In particular, the development of wooden buildings in recent years has experienced a boom. More and more, their positive qualities come to the attention of potential investors. Thanks to this the new technologies of construction are still developed and the new wood-based materials tested. The continuous improvement of the thermal insulating materials and as well as technical equipment of buildings such as ventilation, heat recovery, solar and photovoltaic systems is recorded. All of these materials and technologies must follow the standards which tightened the thermal technical requirements. This led to the sophisticated compositions of individual structures and the use of better materials. Not always declared properties of the materials or construction planners are designed in accordance with the calculated values. In practice there is often ill-composition design of the construction or improper assembling of wooden parts which may result in an increase in thermal loss of the building, disturbed microclimate inside the building, but also negatively affecting the lives of individual structural units which implies that we should deal with these problems significantly.

The value of air permeability, or the value of n50 provides important information about the impermeability of the building envelope and thus the quality of internal environment of the building. It is also one of the main evaluation criteria in classifying energy efficient buildings. Air permeability is determined by Blower Door Test where the fan blows air in or out from the measured area. The measurement is performed in a overpressure and afterwards in a underpressure during which the leaks are detected. The frame is usually placed into the front door which themselves is a weak part in the building envelope, and thus the rate of leakage completely denies. The effect of leakage of the front door is so significant that it can often cause a misclassification of the energy efficient buildings. We have tested this hypothesis by Blower Door Test on a passive timber construction build in 2007 during which we have measured the object in position of measuring device placed in the front door and the balcony door that are not encumbered by leaks caused by a security hardware and by other specific elements

Abstract This paper deals with the issue of financing technology investments. Specifically, it concerns the process of loading and transportation of sand and gravel. The research was conducted through a questionnaire survey. The main objective of this paper is to identify financing sources used for the process of loading and transportation of sand and gravel in selected companies. Another objective was to evaluate whether the selected industrial companies outsource the process of loading and transportation or not. If so, it was then necessary to find out the most common reason for that decision. The issues of financing technological processes in loading and transporting sand and gravel is an interesting area that has not yet been mapped. Abstrakt Příspěvek se zabývá problematikou financování technologických investic. Konkrétně jde o proces nakládání a dopravy štěrkopísků.

Abstract The article deals with the issues of employee benefits that influence employee motivation. Thus they participate not only in creating preconditions for company competitiveness, but also in proper running the company and/or return on investments into employees. In relation to the given questions, selected motivation theories and results of some sociological surveys connected with these problems are characterised briefly in the article as well. The focus of the article is the research into employee benefits in the Ostrava region. The authors of the article paid particular attention to the kinds of benefits provided to employees most frequently at present and how these benefits are perceived by employees themselves
