OBJECTIVE to know how the approach of public policy humanization prerequisites and health programs proposed by the Ministry of Health occur in the practice of prenatal of care usual risk. METHOD field study, exploratory descriptive qualitative approach. The survey was conducted from February to June 2014, with participant observation and semi-structured interviews in four family health units where five nurses and three doctors attended. Operative Proposal was chosen for data analysis. RESULTS the categories revealed in this study that promoted the humanization of prenatal care were: The approach and linking of pregnant woman and their family to family health units and Permanent education as a facilitator for humanization in prenatal care. CONCLUSIONS it is understood that to approach humanized attention, an enlarged look in face of womens singularities is required.

Aim: to analyze the experience of teenage pregnancy in the context of a family and social. Method: a descriptive study, developed o a primary care health unity. Criteria inclusion were pregnant adolescents between 10 and 19 years. Eight pregnant women participated. Research project was approved by the Committee of Ethics in Research under the number 00554512.0.0000.5346. Data collection will be performed through a narrative interview, between March and June 2012, and analyzed by using the content analysis technique with thematic. Results: both families and partners of the teenagers, are supporters of the pregnancy, even though, the first pregnancy discover caused doubt and anxiety to teenagers. Final Considerations: the study provides a contribution to the knowledge on teenage pregnancy, family participation and its importance in this phenomenon for source of support.

OBJECTIVE To be aware of the care rituals developed by families when preparing for home birth during the gestational process. METHOD Qualitative and ethnographic research developed with families during the gestational process. We adopted the observation-participation-reflection model, and the analysis was performed according to ethnonursing. RESULTS Care rituals are related to the choice of home as a place for childbirth, being characterized as a familys rite of separation to experience this process. Other care rituals involved the preparation of the family and the eldest child as well as the home, the body, and the mind of the pregnant woman, and the choice of destination of the placenta. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS We must understand the birth process beyond the biological perspective, considering women and their family as a whole, within a cultural context with their beliefs and values.

The objective of this study is to understand how women perceive participation in gravid process. Field research, of the descriptive type, with qualitative approach, developed with thirteen pregnant women of a municipality within the Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Data were collected through the semi-structured interview. For analysis of data, the analysis of the thematic content of the operational proposal was adopted. The perceptions of the pregnant women covered three perspectives: the partner participates in the gestational process, the companion remains distant and the companion does not include the woman in the preparations for the arrival of the baby. It reinforces the importance of the joint participation of the couple, fundamental for the family to establish itself as a group in formation.

Aim: to know the feelings and expectations experienced by adolescent women to become mothers. Method: descriptive, field study with a qualitative approach. The study will be at a hospital in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul. The subject of research will be teenagers in the postpartum period melican. The data will be collected by means of a semi-structured interview, from October to November 2016, and, then, analyzed through the operational proposal of Minayo. Expected results: it is expected that this study promotes discussions and reflections that help in the understanding the feelings and expectations experienced by young teenagers to become mothers

Aim: To identify family participation in pregnancy, in scientific production. Method: integrative literature review, in which a search, in April 2017, with the descriptors family relations and pregnancy was performed, in the databases Literature Latin American and the Caribbean in health sciences, and Nursing database U.S. National Library of Medicine. Twelve articles published from 2004 to 2016, about family relationships and pregnancy, were selected from full texts in original research and available online free of charge. Results: the family takes part in the pregnancy as: protecting and supporting, encouraging pregnant women to perform self-care by means of information and guidance, emotional and psychological support, and with financial aid. Conclusion: pregnancy is a family event and an understanding about the participation of the family in the gestational process can contribute to quality assistance.

Aim: to know how the decision to breastfeed was culturally constructed during adolescence, by a group of women. Method: field study, descriptive, qualitative, developed with eight women. The data were collected through semi-structured interview, and analyzed under the thematic content analysis of operative proposal. Results: the decision to breastfeeding is connected to cultural heritage, transmitted through generations and characterized by family influences, the previous experiences of other women and the knowledge about the benefits of breastfeeding for the child. The guidance provided by health professionals and captured in the media is also involved. Conclusion: the decision to breastfeed is a learning process, built in the context in which women are included. Thus, the contribution of this study is to look at enlargement on breastfeeding, recognizing it as a practice influenced by culture

Aim: to know the experience of women about breastfeeding. Method: qualitative descriptive research. The participants were eleven women, randomly invited from the users of a basic health center. The data collection was made through semistructured interviews and the analytical procedure was thematic analysis. The research followed the 196/96 resolution and was approved by the Research Ethics Committee under number 0165.0.243.000-11. Results: the categories that emerged Popular and scientific knowledge regarding breastfeeding of women who have experienced and Family influences in the construction of knowledge in breastfeeding process. Conclusion: the interviewed women believe in the protective effect of breastfeeding and that it should be exclusively offered until the child is six month old. Moreover, they feel influenced by cultural aspects, reporting the relevance of the opinion of family and health professionals
