SCHOOL BASED ASSESSMENT MODULE FOR INVASION GAMES CATEGORY IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION

This study identify the level of basic skills of invasion games category when using School Based Assessment Module. The assessment of invasion games category was divided into two assessment contexts namely Assessment for Learning (AforL) and Assessment of Learning (AofL). The findings showed that the level of cognitive achievement for AforL is M = 69.12, SD = 14.74 and AofL is M = 76.60, SD = 12.96. The findings of the level of psychomotor achievement for AforL with M = 72.28, SD = 14:23 and AofL with M = 74.98, SD = 9.88. The analysis also showed the level of affective achievement for AforL: M = 75.33, SD = 14:40 and AofL: M = 76.65, SD = 18:52). This result clearly showed an improvement in students’ learning performance in achievement test through teachers’ observation during the teaching and learning of Physical Education for Invasion Game Category Basic Skills. NOTATIONAL ANALYSIS ON TACTICAL PASSING SKILLS USED BY COLLEGIATE PLAYERS IN AN INDOOR HOCKEY MASUM TOURNAMENT

The study aimed to determine the relationship of frequency for wall, diagonal and square passing with the performance for men and women team. Eighteen teams (man = 11; woman = 7) involved in this study. The Pearson correlation coefficient was used to examine the relationship between frequency of use wall pass, diagonal pass and square pass with team performance. Results of the study showed a significant relationship between the frequency of the use of passes to the achievement of the team in both categories. The significant value of wall pass, diagonal pass and square pass for men and women teams is (p < 0.05). Positive relationship indicated team that use more wall, diagonal and square passing was a successful team in tournament. The findings for this study could be used by trainers and individuals who involved in the player development and coaches education. Cognitive Domain Achievement Level among Reserve Officers Training Team (PALAPES)

This study was conducted to determine the level of cognitive domain among Reserve Officers Training Team (PALAPES) after underwent three years of training module. 105 PALAPES cadet officers were recruited as participants in this study. Co-curriculum index assessments (IPKo) was used to assess cognitive domain achievement level. Results showed all the cadets are only at the ‘good’ and ‘moderate’ level in all given cognitive items; i) Management: 73.3% ‘good’ and 26.7% ‘moderate’, mean = 3.73, ii) Safety: 66.7% ‘good’ and 33.3% ‘moderate’, mean = 3.67, iii) Regulations: 73.3% ‘good’ and 26.7% ‘moderate’, mean = 3.73, iv) Protocol: 82.9% ‘good’ and 17.1% ‘moderate’, mean = 3.83. The overall cognitive mean was at a ‘good level’ of 3.74. Results demonstrate the advantages for the university students to involved in co-curricular activities such as PALAPES in enhancing cognitive ability.
