Abstract: The therapeutic follow-up is an important tool for integrating service projects focused on psychosocial care. These actions are work practices as opposed to models of asylums treatment, aligning the proposed reform and psychiatric health. Therefore, it is uncertain how psychosocial care has been developed within the Psychosocial Care Centers, and alternatives to overcome the impasses of mental health network are sought. The objective of this paper is to discuss the possibility of the therapist contribution in psychosocial care. Thus, one can consider that psychosocial care is still in the building process as the basis of the current healthcare equipment of psychiatric reform. Thus, an actor who could act circulating in these different sectors, these different spaces is the therapist, promoting the user’s facilitation, integration and joint construction in his/her everyday world and in new cultural /interactional networks. Keywords : Therapeutic follow-up. Psychosocial Atenttion Center - CAPS. Mental health. Mental health services.

The discourse disseminated in the media shows the user of crack as dependent or criminal. This study’s aim was to analyze the construction of otherness around the image of crack users. We interviewed 14 crack users in different places and the data were analyzed using Thematic Content Analysis. The participants’ reports suggest that the image of crack users is established based on alterity, in which the individual in this condition does not recognize him/herself. Thus, even though users contend that their actions are not determined by the standards provided by their interactional networks, hegemonic representations concerning their contexts of use attest that these activities concerning crack are just as they are perceived to be. Therefore, even though they have other experiences with the drug, these participants believe that the use of crack provides a destructive pleasure and impedes voluntary action.O discurso veiculado tanto na imprensa quanto nas comunicacoes cotidianas tem situado o usuario de crack como dependente ou criminoso.

This work aims at describing the set of Social Psychology theories that Brazilian researchers have been using, trying to understand the theoretical currents privileged when developing research. It surveyed the Social Psychology articles published in Psychology journals ranked by CAPES in 2012 as Qualis A1, A2 and B1, from 2007 to 2011. Sixteen journals were selected. These have published 3,501 articles in that period, of which 550 were classified as Social Psychology articles, based on the criteria defined. It was observed that 45% of the articles analyzed a social topic without resorting to the theoretical-conceptual framework of Social Psychology, while only 4% employed a methodological discussion. Thus, Social Psychology ends up by being characterized as a field that describes social affairs, phenomena that are relevant or emergent in the society, without more consistent advances in the theoretical or methodological light.
