Objective: To evaluate the virtual learning environment for the teaching of nursing process to undergraduate students. Methods: This was an exploratory study of cross-sectional design. The population consisted of 42 students divided into groups A and B, with 21 each, randomly selected. Data were collected using the web platform and exercises related to program content, including identifi cation and classifi cation of nursing diagnoses, both in the virtual environment as well as in a printed version. Results: We found a signifi cant association between the variables “has a microcomputer” and “preference for the exercises on the web platform” (p = 0.0044) and between “has a microcomputer” and “Internet access” (p = 0.000001). The majority of the students preferred to perform the exercises in a virtual environment for its convenience, speed and practicality (61.9%). Conclusion: The use of virtual environment for teaching and learning was positively evaluated by students, but the results pointed to the need for adequacies of educational technology resources. Objective: To evaluate the virtual learning environment for the teaching of nursing process to undergraduate students. In recent years, social organizations and families have changed leading to an increase in the nursery school demand by the population. Our aim was to understand the influences of intra-family relationships on the behavior of children ages 0-3 years old who attend nursery schools through the experiences of their child care providers. A qualitative research, using Phenomenological Approach, in which 12 child care providers of sir municipal nursery schools were interviewed. As categories: Reproduction of behaviors learned in the family atmosphere; Integration family-nursery school as a facilitator of the work carried out by the child care providers; Lack of hygienic care offered by the family. Future studies could promote improvements in the actions of caregivers towards the childrens needs, leading to a better quality of life for the children and helping to develop their full potential.
