Objetivou-se avaliar tecnicamente tres semeadoras para plantio direto de milho, montou-se um experimento em area do Departamento de Engenharia Agricola da UFLA, sob Latossolo Vermelho Distroferrico argiloso (LVdf), utilizando-se as seguintes semeadoras: S1 - Semeato SHM 11/13; S2 - John Deere RT 907 e S3 - John Deere RT 907, com diferentes sistemas de abertura de sulcos para deposicao de adubo, deslocando-se a tres velocidades distintas, de V1 (1,38 m.s-1), V2 (1,8 m.s-1) e V3 (2,22 m.s-1). As variaveis quantificadas foram: patinagem, forca media na barra de tracao, potencia media por mecanismo de semeadura, consumo horario e especifico de combustivel e capacidade de campo teorica. Adotou-se um delineamento estatistico em blocos casualizados, com parcelas subdivididas. A partir dos resultados obtidos, foi possivel concluir que, com relacao ao desempenho operacional do conjunto trator-semeadora, ocorreram diferencas significativas entre os tres conjuntos quanto a forca na barra e ao consumo de combustivel. Quanto a patinagem e a potencia, nao ocorreu diferenca significativa entre os conjuntos 1 e 2, apresentando menor valor, diferindo do conjunto 3. Para os parâmetros tecnico-operacionais avaliados, a condicao de melhor desempenho foi observada para S1V3 (Semeato SHM 11/13 e 2,22 m.s-1).

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of three fertilizer-seeders, in ground conventionally prepared and five densities of plants in the row in soybean yield and agronomic characteristics. The sowing was carried through in years 2001/2002 and 2002/2003, with Monarca and Conquista cultivars. Fertilizer-seeders were used, being two precision seeders and a one seed drills and manual sowing (witness). The experimental design was randomized blocks, with three replications, and treatments in split plots. Accuracy in plant spacing in the row, grains yield, pods for plant, mass of 100 grains, plants height, lodging and real density of plants in the row had been evaluated. The precision seeder with vacuum metering system provided larger accuracy and grains yield, in relation the mechanical metering system, in the densities from 10 to 19 plants m-1; in the 22 plants m-1 density it did not have difference between the precision seeders with regard to yield; the seed drills, with the conformation used in this work, was not adjusted for the implantation of the soybean crop.

The search of new alternatives in the sense of increasing the soybean productivity has been several research objective. With that intection, a trial was conduced at the farmer Canada, in Jussara (GO), in a Dark Red Latosol soil, utilized two sowing systems (broacast and furrows), plants populations (200, 300, 400, 500, 600 and 700.000 plants.ha-1) in blocks casualized design with tree replications and factorial scheme (2x6). The portion were constituted of 4 row spacing of 0,50 m with useful area of 4,0 m2 in the system of sowing in furrows same area for the broadcast system. The use of the sowing broadcast system it provided increase in the grains yields of 35,33% (1128 kg.ha-1) in comparison with of the furrow. The populations altered yield grains significantly with prominence for 4000.000 plants.ha-1 wich presented also logding smaller.
