Produção científica de enfermeiros assistenciais com apoio de assessoria em pesquisa

O texto descreve o contexto, a coleta de informacoes e analise de atividades desenvolvidas no Nucleo de Pesquisa em Enfermagem (NUPE) de um hospital escola-publico, no norte do Parana, referente ao periodo de 1999 a 2002. A producao cientifica de enfermeiros assistenciais, mediada por esse nucleo constituiu o foco dessa analise, por ser considerada de importância fundamental para a formacao profissional permanente. A coleta de informacoes se deu em fontes documentais primarias do NUPE. Verificou-se que os enfermeiros elaboraram, isoladamente ou em conjunto com alunos e professores de Enfermagem, 129 projetos de pesquisa. Foram apresentados 151 trabalhos cientificos em diversos eventos, com seis premiacoes. Foram encaminhados para publicacao 63 trabalhos cientificos, sendo 36 publicados. No periodo investigado, todos enfermeiros concluiram Curso de Especializacao, estando alguns realizando mestrado ou doutorado. Concluiu-se que o NUPE contribuiu para alavancar a producao cientifica na instituicao, com repercussoes no desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional dos enfermeiros.

Scientific production of nurse clinicians mediated by a research advisory group

Sentidos da pesquisa na prática profissional de enfermeiras assistenciais

The aim of this study was to analyze the meanings given to investigative research by nurse clinicians enrolled in a research support group. The interpretive anthropology theoretical frame was used along with an ethnographic case study. Data was collected through semi-structured individual and group interviews, document and statement analysis as well as field diary notes. The statements of 36 participants were analyzed interpretively identifying four categories: activitys value, researching is learning, the movements about the activity, the activity is hard work that demands personal effort. We understand that once research training initiative is supported by the organization and desired by the nurse, it becomes a scientific-pedagogical strategy for academic nursing formation with positive repercussions to care assistance.

Sistematização da assistência de enfermagem e o pensamento complexo na formação do enfermeiro: análise documental

The aim of this study was to analyse the inclusion of the subject Nursing Care Systems (NCS) in nursing education. This study was based on qualitative desk research and it was conducted in a nursing programme in southern Brazil that offers an integrated curriculum with NCS as a cross-cutting theme. Data were collected from September to December 2012, by examining 15 planning and development workbooks on the cross-disciplinary modules of the programme. Analysis was divided into four stages: exploratory, selective, analytic and interpretive reading. The adopted theoretical framework was Complex Thought of Edgar Morin, according to the principles of relevant knowledge. Results were arranged into two categories: NCS as a crosscutting theme in nursing education: the context, the global and the multidimensional; and strategies for teaching, learning and assessment of NCS: the complex. The study contributes to the debate on the importance of teaching NCS as a crosscutting theme in nursing education.

Reflective portfolio as a learning evaluation instrument: nurses residents’ perception

ABSTRACT Objective : describing the resident students’ perceptions, involved in the reflective portfolio construction. Method : this is a descriptive study from qualitative approach, performed during the Residence in Nursing Management Services Course, which is located in the Health Science Center from Londrina State University. The subjects were 23 Resident students. The data was collected through interviews, individually done, based on a questionnaire about the use of the portfolio during residence. The research project was approved by the Ethics in Research at UEL , with protocol number 056/10. Results : the results showed that the use of the portfolio during Residence has a significant potential when some possibilities are evident, among them are the development of the reflective capacity, the self-evaluation, the development in written communication competence and the organization of theoretical-pedagogical material. Conclusion : the proposal of the use of the portfolio as an evaluation tool during Residence showed to be consistent with an evaluation at learning service, connected in the process and not only as a single moment. Descriptors : portfolio; evaluation; nursery. RESUMO Objetivo : descrever as percepcoes de estudantes de uma Residencia, envolvidos na construcao do portfolio reflexivo. Metodo : trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva na abordagem qualitativa, desenvolvida no curso de Residencia em Gerencia de Servicos de Enfermagem, alocado no Centro de Ciencias da Saude, da Universidade Estadual de Londrina. Os sujeitos foram 23 alunos da Residencia. Os dados foram coletados por entrevistas, realizadas individualmente, com base em um questionario acerca da utilizacao do portfolio na residencia. O projeto de pesquisa foi aprovado pelo Comite de Etica em Pesquisa da UEL, sob parecer n o 056/10. Resultados : os resultados demonstraram que a utilizacao do portfolio reflexivo na Residencia tem um potencial significativo quando se evidenciam algumas possibilidades, dentre elas o desenvolvimento da capacidade reflexiva, a auto-avaliacao, o desenvolvimento da competencia de comunicacao escrita e a organizacao de material teorico pedagogico. Conclusao : a proposta do uso do portfolio como ferramenta de avaliacao na Residencia, demonstrou-se concordante com uma avaliacao a servico da aprendizagem, conectada no processo e nao apenas como um momento isolado . Metodo : se trata de una pesquisa descriptiva en el enfoque cualitativo, desarollado en el curso de Residencia en Administracion de Servicos de Enfermeria, situado en el Centro de Ciencias de la Salud, de la Universidad Estatal de Londrina. Los sujetos fueron 23 alumnos de la Residencia. Los datos fueron colectados por entrevistas, realizados endividualmente, con base en un cuestinario que trataba a respecto de la utilizacion del portfolio en la Residencia. El proyecto de investigacion fue aprobado por el Comite de Etica de la UEL , con el numero 056/10. Resultados : los resultados demostraron que el uso del portfolio reflexivo en la Residencia tiene un potencial significativo cuando se mostraron algunas de las posibilidades incluyendo el desarrollo de la capacidad reflexiva, la autoevaluacion, el desarrollo de la competencia en la comunicacion escrita y la organizacion de la ensenanza teorico. Conclusion : la propuesta del uso del portfolio como herramienta de evaluacion en la Residencia, se demonstro concordante con una evaluacion a servicio del aprendizaje, conectado al processo y no solamente como un momento aislado. The production and dissemination of knowledge scientific by nurses clinicians

Objective: to report nurses’ experiences who advise groups of searches in hospitals. Method: we selected two experiences. The first between 2003 and 2006 involving clinics nurses and other health professionals, in partnership of university hospital, community health center and School of Nursing all of them private. The second in public service, between 1999 and 2002, in partnership of School of Nursing and Directors of Nursing at University Hospital. Results: in the private service were produced eleven research presented at scientific events; eight research projects completed and sent for publication; six publications in journals indexed; four conferences, two forums; two courses; four projects in progress. In public service, either alone or in partnership with teachers and students were produced 129 research projects, 151 scientific papers presented at events; 36 published papers, six scientific papers rewarded. Conclusion: the main difficulties in investigative action by clinics nurses were with the structural organization with impasses in the process of work; weaknesses of interactions at various levels professionals; difficulties with the scientific method, among others. Although not yet part of the vast majority of services of the research by nurses in hospital they activities are key to expanding knowledge, practice review, to know the scientific and social transformations, among other ways to show your creative and innovative potential theses nurses, together with their practical experiences among other benefits professional, personal and health teams.
