Significados do conceito de saúde na perspectiva de docentes da área da saúde

O estudo objetivou compreender os significados do conceito de saude para docentes profissionais da area da saude de uma Instituicao de Ensino Superior. Pesquisa descritivo-exploratoria, realizada com os coordenadores dos cursos de graduacao da area da saude atuantes em atividades de ensino superior. Os resultados evidenciaram a existencia de um paradoxo em relacao aos significados atribuidos ao conceito de saude. Para alguns, a saude e entendida como um fenomeno complexo; para outros, um fenomeno reducionista. Os dados possibilitam argumentar que houve importantes avancos na apreensao teorica e conceitual de saude, mesmo que para alguns participantes o fenomeno saude ainda esteja pautado em concepcoes reducionistas e pontuais. Abarcar o significado ampliado do fenomeno saude implica, em suma, ampliar as possibilidades interativas alem da articulacao teoria e pratica, por meio de debates e discussoes que fortalecam e divulguem o conceito de saude segundo uma perspectiva ampliada.This study aimed to comprehend the meanings of the health concept for professional teachers of an Institution of Higher Education. This exploratory descriptive research was conducted with coordinators of undergraduate courses in the health field. The results demonstrated that there is a paradox related to the meanings attributed to the health concept. While some teachers understand health as a complex phenomenon, others see it as a reductionist phenomenon. The data suggest that there have been important advances in the theoretical and conceptual apprehension of health though for some participants the health phenomenon is still ruled by reductionist and punctual conceptions. Reaching the broader meaning of the health phenomenon implies not only enlarging the interactive possibilities, but also a theoretical and practical articulation through debates and discussions that strengthen and promote the concept of health according to a broader perspective.

Contributions of ludic care in nursing to chemical detoxification due to the use of crack cocaine

OBJECTIVE to understand the contributions of ludic care in nursing by stimulating the acceptance of chemical detoxification from crack on the perception of people in the detoxification process. METHODS an exploratory, descriptive study with a qualitative approach, performed with five people hospitalized for chemical detoxification from crack, from March to July 2013 in a chemical detox unit of a midsize hospital in the central region of Rio Grande do Sul. Data was collected using a semi-structured interview and was subjected to content analysis. RESULTS Two categories emerged: Ludic care in nursing as a stimulus to the acceptance of chemical detoxification; Ludic care in nursing in the promotion for healthy living after chemical detoxification. CONCLUSION ludic care in nursing proved to enhance the acceptance of chemical detoxification from crack in the reality investigated.

Self care theory in pregnant women during chemical detoxification from crack: nursing’s contributions

Data were collected before and after the activities, developed during this period, through semi-structured interviews and submitted to content analysis after being approved by the local Research and Ethics Committee (Opinion 072/2010). SEGURANÇA DO PACIENTE NA PRÁXIS DO CUIDADO DE ENFERMAGEM: PERCEPÇÃO DE ENFERMEIROS

Son considerados principios que cualifican los cuidados de enfermeria y dirigen la practica basada en la evidencia, el compromiso etico y profesional, la realizacion de procedimientos seguros y adecuados para los pacientes. Objetivo: Identificar las percepciones de las enfermeras acerca de la seguridad del paciente en la practica de los cuidados de enfermeria. Metodo: Investigacion cualitativa, descriptiva exploratoria, realizada con nueve enfermeras en un pequeno hospital, ubicado en la region central de Rio Grande do Sul. Los datos fueron recolectados entre agosto y noviembre de 2011 a traves de entrevista semiestructurada y fueron sometidos a analisis de contenido. Resultados: Cuatro categorias emergieron: Seguridad del Paciente: visibilidad en la organizacion de los cuidados de enfermeria; Seguridad del Paciente: un devenir que se construye en los cuidados de enfermeria; Desorganizacion del medio ambiente y profesional: factores que contribuyen al error; Diferentes posturas de la enfermera en el estado de error. Conclusiones: La seguridad del paciente se puede hacer a partir del conocimiento, el compromiso y la participacion de todos los profesionales, siendo necesario desarrollar un movimiento cultural y praxis transformadora de la atencion de enfermeria.

SENTIMENTOS DESPERTADOS EM FAMILIARES DE PESSOAS INTERNADAS NA UNIDADE DE TERAPIA INTENSIVA

Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratoria, descritiva, de carater qualitativo, desenvolvida com oito familiares de pessoas internadas na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva de um hospital de medio porte localizado na regiao central do Rio Grande do Sul, no periodo de agosto e setembro de 2010, que objetivou conhecer os sentimentos despertados em familiares em relacao ao ambiente e aos profissionais de saude. Os dados, coletados por meio de entrevista semiestruturada, foram analisados pelo metodo de analise de conteudo e do qual emergiram as categorias Impotencia frente a hospitalizacao do familiar, Inseguranca relacionada a proximidade com morte, Inflexibilidade da equipe de saude diante do familiar, eAusencia de dialogo com os familiares.O cuidado aos familiares e uma necessidade que deve se estender do desenvolvimento profissional para o cotidiano do servico dos profissionais. Assim, torna-se possivel auxiliar os familiares no enfrentamento da doenca e adaptacao da hospitalizacao, desmistificando a associacao deste ambiente ao evento da morte.
