Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to present a comparative study on the characteristics of knitted fabrics used in the manufacturing of apparel, which are produced from organic cotton, lyocell and soybean protein fiber (SPF). It is important for both the environment and society that textile industry continues to adopt more ecofriendly materials and furthermore, pushes to increase awareness regarding these material choices available to the consumer and the corresponding impacts of consumers’ decisions. The use of sustainable fibers may be a starting point for changing the industrial paradigm of the textile industry. Design/methodology/approach – The research presented herein analyzes the potential use of three raw materials used in the development of knitted fabrics: organic cotton, lyocell and SPF. The reading incentive through the arts and the process of this project shows the importance of tattooing as a means of communication in the social sphere, the difficulties and its evolution over the years to strengthen as an art and as a conveyance of ideas and feelings. Exemplifying with their meanings and messages tattooing as an art, people want to move to the prejudice that was created and the block with this type of communication. Show a part of its history and its essence and importance to those who have it and those who do not know this language option. The proposal is to introduce a differentiated and privileged look that few can observe as well as to demonstrate that technology and globalization have changed this type of communication and brought new ways for this art. Dessa maneira, propicia maior integracao e amplia a sinergia entre academia e o mundo empresarial.

Este trabalho e resultante de uma entrevista realizada numa empresa, de pequeno porte, do segmento textil, de confeccao de moda feminina, com o intuito de levantar dados para analises posteriores. Aqui sao apresentados os dados gerais, obtidos nesta empresa. Propos-se a identificar uma ferramenta ideal que pudesse desenhar os processos existentes identificados e mapeados da empresa. Identificou-se, entao, a BPMN, e junto com o software BizAgi Process Modeler Copyright©BizAgi Ltd 2011, obteve-se uma forma de apresentar desenhos destes processos. Este trabalho mostra, de uma maneira geral, como e possivel gerar indicadores de desempenho a partir de metricas adquiridas nos postos de trabalho, por meio de controles simples e bem estruturados. Este estudo faz parte de um trabalho destinado ao relatorio final para a disciplina de gerenciamento e simulacao de processos de confeccao textil da EACH/USP, sob a supervisao da professora doutora Isabel Italiano.
