Análise do potencial de flexibilidade estrutural: o caso de uma cooperativa de trabalho

The article aims to analyze the structure flexibility potential of a Medical Cooperative from the perspective of Dominant Coalition. It is characterized as a qualitative research, with the descriptive objective and delineated by the single case study strategy. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews, document analysis and systematic direct observation. It was found that the environment that the Cooperative operates is dynamic and complex, mainly due to the market being regulated by Government, the entry of new competitors, as well as social, cultural and economic factors that underlie any market. This context tends to require greater flexibility potential of organizations. The structural flexibility is associated with the degree of mechanistic: the more mechanical, less flexible. However, even acting in this context and being set up as a cooperative, research indicates the predominance of mechanistic aspects. The cooperative management model, the size of the organization and the use of the Total Quality Management, are aspects that restrict the potential for structural flexibility of Cooperative.

PROPOSIÇÃO DE UMA SISTEMÁTICA DE AVALIAÇÃO DE APRENDIZAGEM NA FORMAÇÃO DE ADMINISTRADORES COM BASE NO PROCESSO GERENCIAL

Managers are the outcomes of production systems rationality designed. The manager as outcome is a mix of knowledge, skills and behavior pattern whose utility is directly proportional to the consistency of your professional formation, just the production systems rationality designed. Thus, this paper aims to present a systematic evaluation of learning based on managerial process functions: planning, organization, directing and control. It consist of ten steps: definition of knowledge to be evaluate; definition of skills to be evaluate; choosing of test framework; writing of questions; definition of test solution norms; evaluation pre-test; testing; organization of data; evaluation of results; and analyzing the causes of failure and replanning. The results show that manager formation process can be optimized if higher education institutions use the system in accordance with the course objectives.

Comportamento organizacional: uma aplicação da tipologia de Miles e Snow no setor hoteleiro de Florianópolis-SC

The study was to verify the strategic behavior adopted by administrators hotels Florianopolis-SC, Brazil, according to the typology of Miles and Snow (1978). The search is characterized as a quantitative, survey-type, it has a population of 22 hotels located in Florianopolis-SC, Brazil, falling between three and five stars. We opted for the quantitative and descriptive approach, using for data collection, closed questions. The results showed that 45% of Florianopolis hotels administrators adopt behaviors Surveyors, 31% Analysts, 19% Reactives and Defensives 5%. The conclusion is that administrators adopt mostly Prospectors behaviors that are characterized by the pursuit of new markets and introduction of new products and services to customers.
