Este e um livro que reune textos de diferentesautores que compartilham o compromisso coma producao de saberes que possam alavancar asmudancas necessarias na assistencia a saude denossa populacao, no sentido de realmente fazervaler e concretizar as aspiracoes congregadas naformulacao do SUS. O primeiro capitulo e de autoria de Emer-son Merhy, “Um dos grandes desafios para osgestores do SUS: apostar em novos modos de fa-bricar os modelos de atencao”, e trata do jogosocial subjacente ao processo de producao dasaude. O autor propoe um esquema de analise dosmodelos de atencao a saude no qual se leve emconsideracao os tres atores sociais que nele es-tao implicados: os usuarios e suas necessidadesde saude, os trabalhadores e o saber-fazer quecomportam, e os gestores e sua capacidade deadministrar recursos. Os modelos de atencao asaude se constituiriam como expressao da rela-cao de contrato entre estes tres atores, o quesignifica dizer que tais processos sao eminente-

A descriptive study, using a quantitative approach to evaluate the strategies carried through by nurses in a school environment of a Municipal Center of Children Education, through the Project of Extension Learning Health in the School, and still to analyze the profile of the children attended. The research was carried through with a sample of 350 nursing attendances. We verify that in 10 pupils had been found suggestive corporal lesions of family violence/negligence. They were registered educative activities, involving the following subjects: dengue, personal hygiene, parasitosis and the destination of the solid residues. We evidence that 4.6% of the children attended were unfed, and that 6.4% were in nutritional risk, and that 80% of children did not presented an adequate oral hygiene, demonstrated through the presence of caries. In the evaluation of the professors about the performance of the project it was possible to identify stories on the reduction of the episodes of domestic violence against the child. Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar uma perspectiva de analise sobre o processo de trabalho em saude que o considera capaz de producao de procedimentos especializados e atos cuidadores, e tambem como um campo fertil para a producao de sujeitos protagonistas na construcao de um sistema de saude mais justo e de relacoes societais mais democraticas. Trata-se de uma reflexao teorica alimentada por pesquisas desenvolvidas em servicos de atencao basica na regiao da Grande Vitoria. Aborda a centralidade do trabalho na construcao do homem, ressaltando as especificidades do trabalho em saude no seu aspecto relacional. Sugere que o processo de trabalho seja analisado sob a otica do jogo de forcas que se presentifica no cotidiano e valoriza os instrumentos e estrategias metodologicas que incluam os trabalhadores no questionamento daquilo que se produz cotidianamente. Nesse sentido, aponta a necessidade de construcao de espacos coletivos de fala e reflexao sobre o trabalho com a presenca da comunidade, de modo a avancar na construcao de um novo senso comum que conceba a saude nao apenas como ausencia de sintomas, mas como qualificacao da existencia.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the contribution of the specialization course on Family Health Care (PG-PSF), in Espirito Santo State, for the reorientation of the practices in health. It is a cross-sectional study with a population of 47 egressing students of the PG-PSF course in 2007. It was used a semi-structured questionnaire for data collection data. The analysis of the generated contributions showed some reports regarding the changes in the work actions after the acquired knowledge during the course. The majority of the students declared that the acquired knowledge have applicability in their daily work. They also declared that can plan their actions based in the epidemic profile of the area where worked. The relevance of this course was verified for the egressing students, with the perspective of a constant adaptation of the contents and improvement of the didactic-pedagogic process, through a system of continuous education or permanent education, as well as the attendance processes and supervision in service.
