A reputation pattern for service oriented computing

Trust problems exist in open distributed service oriented computing environments. A lot of research work has been done on the theories and applications of trust and reputation management in service oriented environment. However, the design expertise on trust is not well documented yet. In this paper we propose to use trust patterns for documenting solutions for trust problems. The main benefit of using trust patterns is that it decouples the application domain expertise from the trust expertise. We also present a reputation service pattern as a solution to the trust problem in service provision which is one of the significant problems in service oriented computing environments.

Concurrent design in the network environment

Aimed at the application actuality of CAD system in corporation, under the good data management, concurrent design will expedite the products development, keep up with the requirement of market. Intelligence concurrent design system (ICDS) under network is researched in this paper. The architecture adopts centralized mode, the communication is based on message mechanism. Message is sent and captured by concurrent server, which determines the right of different clients. The background of every client is agent, which is used to deal with the data storage and communicate with outside etc. the designed character is developed pathfinder, which facilitate the client to modify the drawing. Design guidelines offer the design information.

Application of pattern emulation on weave CAD automatization

Traditional weave CAD systems have such limitation as its complex arts and crafts, its long production cycle and its high material waste rate. In order to improve the productivity, we designed an intelligent pattern designing and plate making integrated system. Especially, a pattern emulation technique added to this system to some extent accelerates automation of the weave CAD system. We describe the weave CAD systems framework and realization of its subsystems. In addition, we use an OOD method for representation of the weave and put forward an emulation technique using reticulated structure modeling and a blobby geometric modeling method for textile surfaces.

A simple method to simulate waved water

This paper presents a method to simulate water waves. First, in the making of water waves, the method based on Airy waves is easily implemented and has a fine effect. Second, the method based on Gerstner waves is physical and can make breaking waves. So we combined the two methods together and proposed a simple method to make water waves. Compared with other methods, our method is easily implemented to simulate many forms of water waves such as lake waves, ocean waves and breaking waves.

The Research and Implementation of Turning Conference Management System into a Service

As the need for application service becomes larger and larger, turning software into a service has been addressed as a matter of urgency. There are two kinds of application delivery models, ASP and SaaS. This paper describes a method for turning software into a service using the ASP model, and use conference management system as an example to illustrate the idiographic process. According to the pertinences, software systems can be classified to two types. One type is user-independent, and the other is organization-centralized. This paper describes how to turn the organization-centralized software to a large-granularity application service.

SOMG: a service oriented manufacturing grid system

The term manufacturing grid (MG) is the application of grid technologies on manufacturing, which really is a cooperation platform and resource sharing system among manufacturing enterprises. Many works have been done on MG architecture but most of them are case-by-case for the complicated of manufacturing itself. By analyzing the trend of advanced manufacturing technology development and the characteristics of MG, it points out that the essential of MG concept is a virtual manufacturing organization, which a combination of data grids and service grids. After discussing the feasibility of service oriented MG model and by giving the realization thought of SOMG, the whole architecture of SOMG is presented. In this architecture, a peer-to-peer node structure responsible for aggregating manufacturing resource and service by distributed hash table approach is presented. At last, the way of manufacturing services organization is discussed.

Parametric design method based on a directed acyclic hypergraph and object oriented technology

We use the parametric figure model based on the directed hypergraph to represent the store structure of pressed cross chains, and carry it out using the object oriented method. By making use of a clear data structure to store the constraints model, we can implement the spreading and solving of the constraints and represent the bidirectional constraints conveniently.
