Aimed at the application actuality of CAD system in corporation, under the good data management, concurrent design will expedite the products development, keep up with the requirement of market. Intelligence concurrent design system (ICDS) under network is researched in this paper. The architecture adopts centralized mode, the communication is based on message mechanism. Message is sent and captured by concurrent server, which determines the right of different clients. The background of every client is agent, which is used to deal with the data storage and communicate with outside etc. the designed character is developed pathfinder, which facilitate the client to modify the drawing. Design guidelines offer the design information.

A tremendous amount of useful information is generated during the process of designing, but often only the final result is recorded. To effectively manage knowledge can help engineers rapidly redesign another similar product by modifying the original design process. This article brings forward a model to manage knowledge generated from the design process. This model supports the reuse of these design process knowledge through mapping the product composition and variation relation in practical product design to the product design process knowledge in effect. This article also gives an example of product design to validate the model

Global illumination is the core part of photo-realistic rendering. The photon mapping algorithm is an effective method for computing global illumination with its obvious advantage of caustic and color bleeding rendering. It is an active research field that has been developed over the past two decades. The deficiency of precise details and efficient rendering are still the main challenges of photon mapping. This report reviews recent work and classifies it into a set of categories including radiance estimation, photon relaxation, photon tracing, progressive photon mapping, and parallel methods. The goals of our report are giving readers an overall introduction to photon mapping and motivating further research to address the limitations of existing methods.
