A system of wireless transmission of electric energy with the selection of resonant capacitances

Milena Kurzawa; Wieslaw Lyskawinski; Rafał Marek Wojciechowski

The paper discusses the method of selecting compensation capacitances to obtain a high-efficient system of wireless transmission of electric energy. The system with a serial-in-serial-out resonant circuit, an air-core transformer was tested. An attempt was made to select such values of capacitance that the system could operate within a large distance between the windings of the air-core transformer.

Two-step power supply application to reduce THDi ratio in LED light sources with integrated driver

Lukasz Putz; Milena Kurzawa

This paper presents the concept of using a two-stage power supply unit to reduce the harmonic frequencies of electric current generated by light-emitting diodes fitted with an integrated power supply and driver. In the work, there are references to the most important Standards pertaining to generation higher harmonics of current. It also provides information on the experimental setup and the measurement methodology. Subsequently, the paper discusses and analyses the research results. Finally, there are conclusions and observations on the conducted study.
