COMPETITIVIDADE SISTÊMICA NO ARRANJO PRODUTIVO LOCAL DE COLCHÕES EM CAMPINA GRANDE-PB

The current business environment requires new ways of acting, especially the forms of partnerships and cooperation are essential to achieving greater competitiveness. In this context, there were the cluster. For this, the paper aims to identify the degree of competitiveness of the Cluster of mattresses in Campina Grande-PB. Was used the methodology of systemic competitiveness of Coutinho and Ferraz (1994), which analyzes the interaction between systemic factors, structural and business. Thus, research can be characterized as exploratory and descriptive conducted in the form of case study, having a qualitative approach to competitive indicators. Data were collected through interviews with business sector and supplemented by secondary data analysis and non-participant observation. As a result, it was found that the cluster is in favor of competition, however following the hierarchy criteria necessary for the same model can be considered unfavorable, due to systemic factors that were assessed more negatively in comparison to others.
