Jasmina Vesić Vasović; Miroslav Radojičić; Milivoj Klarin; V K Spasojević Brkić

This paper develops a multi-criteria model for making decisions on the production programme relevant for industrial enterprises. It presents some possibilities of using the method of multi-criteria decision making with managerial decision making on the production programme and some possibilities of modelling and disclosing preferences of a decision maker when conducting multi-criteria rating of alternative solutions by applying the concept of PROMETHEE method. The development of a multi-criteria basis for multi-layered and multi-level decision making in a system of relevant criteria, including development aspect, technical and technological aspect, economic aspect, competitive aspect, and humanity aspect, with a set of relevant criteria indicators of quantitative and qualitative nature. By introducing new types of preference functions and by applying them to the multi-criteria decision making of the production programme and to the software support implemented there, original solutions to the problem of the programme orientation optimization are offered. Practical testing of the projected model and of the complex procedure of multi-criteria decision making was demonstrated in practice with the example of a multi-criteria approach to the selection of an optimal variant for the programme of hail suppression rockets production. A multi-criteria approach ensures finding solutions for, and examining the products that are a key to, the long-term development of the enterprise.

This paper presents the development of decision support model through the development of an information system JKP Parking servis Kragujevac. This paper is an attempt of approaching the classical methodology and modern demands of information systems for creation of effective decisions. The paper proves that the design of an information system is inseparably from the process of decision-making and that decision making is the main parameter for execution of information system.

The aim of the research is to examine the professional development of school principals with the aim of more efficient organizing of their training in the field of management. The research is related to the professional development and the professional growth of the primary school principals in Šumadija, Pomoravlje and Raška districts. Research results indicate insufficient additional education of school principals for the role of the manager they perform; as well as the marginal role of professional development in increasing school principals’ competence. To that end, the paper indicates that the professional development process should be designed according to the needs of school principals, the specific and current problems of the working environment, that is, the professional development of school principals should unite work and professional improvement with the use of practical knowledge.

ABSTRACT The aim of the research presented in this paper was to identify the relation of mechanical engineering students’ individual motives and their choice of specialty to success in their studies. The research includes consideration of motivational factors from a number of aspects. The results suggest a connection between academic success and the motives of professional advancement, success in the profession, achieving perceptible success at work, opportunities for hierarchical advancement in a company and others. In accordance with the expressed motives, the results highlight the importance of individual specialties for students depending on the success achieved in the course of their studies.
