The Effect of Washing with Water on Saliva Elimination from Gingival Crevicular Fluid.

唾液は歯肉溝滲出液に含まれる混入物質のなかで主要なものと考えられている。本研究は滲出液中に含まれる唾液のマーカーとして陰性荷電物質を用いた水洗による唾液の排除の効果を検討した。臨床的に健康な歯周組織を有する10人を被験者として第一小臼歯の近心側, 遠心側から滲出液を採取した。滲出液採取はセルロースアセテートストリップスを歯肉溝に15秒間挿入し, 得られた滲出液に含まれる陰性荷電物質をアルシアンブルーと反応させ, 形成された複合物をクロマトスキャナーで測定した。歯肉溝を洗浄しない場合, 唾液の混入は遠心側より近心側が少なかった。しかし, 歯肉溝を水流で洗浄した際には, 両者の間に有意差は認められなかった。洗浄したグループは非洗浄グループに比較して, クロマトスキャナー値は小さい値を示した。以上の結果は, 水流による歯肉溝洗浄によって滲出液への唾液混入は減少したが, 除去できないことを示している。
