ZigBee is an IEEE 802.15.4 standardized communication protocol. It forms a flawless Wireless Sensor Network WSN standard for interoperability at all levels of the network, particularly the application level which most closely touches the user. A large number of devices from different vendors can work seamlessly. These devices act as a network and send huge data traffic to the Coordinator. End devices at different zones have different roles in communication with each other. There has been a lack in executing their requests in a synchronized way based on task priority. This lack leads to massive data traffic loss and degrades the Quality of Service QoS. One of the challenges is to analyze the QoS parameters in ZigBee network that help to detect the overall network performance. The contribution of this paper is twofold; first, a ZigBee Network is implemented based on node priority. It demonstrates a method to generate a new priority of devices with respect to their existing priority and zones’ priority as well. Second, the QoS is analyzed based on the new priority status for tasks preference purposes. The outcome of this paper shows that the QoS of the network is more conspicuous than non-priority based network.

This article represents the data set of micro porous core photonic crystal fiber based chemical sensor. The suggested structure is folded cladding porous shaped with circular air hole. Here is investigated four distinctive parameters including relative sensitivity, confinement loss, numerical aperture (NA), and effective area (Aeff). The numerical outcomes are computed over the E+S+C+L+U communication band. The useable sensed chemicals are methanol, ethanol, propanol, butanol, and pentanol whose are lies in the alcohol series (Paul et al., 2017) [1]. Furthermore, V-parameter (V), Marcuse spot size (MSS), and beam divergence (BD) are also investigated rigorously. All examined results have been obtained using finite element method based simulation software COMSOL Multiphysics 4.2 versions with anisotropic circular perfectly matched layer (A-CPML). The proposed PCF shows the high NA from 0.35 to 0.36; the low CL from ~10–11 to ~10−7 dB/m; the high Aeff from 5.50 to 5.66 µm2; the MSS from 1.0 to 1.08 µm; the BD from 0.43 to 0.46 rad at the controlling wavelength λ = 1.55 µm for employing alcohol series respectively.

Cloud computing offers both services that provide resources over the Internet and economic benefits for using these resources. Economic benefit plays a vital role both for users and providers of cloud. The users pay as they use on the other hand resources of providers never remain idle. The cloud users hive away their valuable data in the cloud and perform their activity with the data. The security of these valuable data should be ensured. The side channel attack is one of the common attacks in cloud computing. Attackers use a malicious virtual machine to retrieve data from the cloud. In this paper, implements a randomly encrypted key generation algorithm against side channel attack in cloud computing. As anyone can use the cloud, it makes easy for the attackers to attack the desired users data. Also, a process has been developed that generates random keys to encrypt data of the cloud users at the time of storage and transmission. The attackers may find the encrypted data when they grab the users data that may no further value for them.

Software Defined Networking (SDN) is a new networking paradigm where control plane is decoupled from the forwarding plane. Nowadays, for the development of information technology large number of data traffic has been added in the global network each day. Due to proliferation of the Internet, e-commerce, video content and personalized cloud-based services higher channel bandwidth required to deliver larger data from one center to others. Lower data communication speed and fault tolerance are major factors for SDN which degrades network performance. This paper presents enhancement of data communication speed and fault tolerance over SDN using link aggregation control protocol (LACP). The result of this paper shows network performance has been improved by increasing approximately 31% data transmission speed over SDN using LACP. Moreover, this paper shows fault tolerance have been improved by LACP which prevents failure of any single component link from leading to breakdown the entire communications.

The purpose of this article is to examine the effects of internal and external knowledge on innovation and also how innovation influences the profitability of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The research is focused on a sample of 412 companies from the industrial and services sectors of the southern region of the State of Sonora, Mexico. Data collection was carried out from June to October 2014, with the support of a selfdirected survey of company managers. For the analysis of the model and validation of the structured relationships, the structural equation method (SEM) based on the variance has been used through the use of the PLS technique (Partial Least Square) with support of the software SmartPLS version 3.2.6 Professional. The results show that both internal and external knowledge have a positive and significant influence on the innovation in products and processes that is developed in SMEs. In addition, product innovation has a significant and positive impact on the profitability of companies. In contrast, a significant but negative relationship was found between process innovation and the profitability of SMEs. It is important that owners and managers continue to capture and use knowledge in order to improve innovation. In addition, it is advisable to implement plans and actions to improve product and process innovation to raise the level of profitability. This work contributes mainly to the development of the literature on absorption capacity (CA) and the theory of resources and capabilities (R&C).
