MONITORING DIAGNOSTIC INDICATORS DURING OPERATION OF A PRINT MACHINE

Jozef Dobránsky; Petr Baron; Marek Kočiško; Monika Teliskova

This article deals with monitoring diagnostic indicators during the operation of a machine used for production of packing materials with a print. It analyses low-frequency vibrations measured in individual spherical roller bearings in eight print positions. The rollers in these positions have a different pressure based on positioning these rollers in relation to the central roller. As a result, the article also deals with a correlation of pressure and level of measured low-frequency vibrations. The speed of the print machine (the speed of a line in meters per minute) is a very important variable during its operation, this is why it is important to verify the values of vibrations in various speeds of the line, what can lead to revelation of one or more resonance areas. Moreover, it examines vibrations of the central roller drive and measurement of backlash of transmission cogs of this drive. Based on performed analyses recommendations for an operator of the machine have been conceived.

An integrated working environment using advanced augmented reality techniques

Marek Kočiško; Monika Teliskova; Petr Baron; Jozef Zajac

This paper presents an Augmented Reality (AR) comprehensive assembly system for the multi-interactive creation of assembly processes. The special multimodal interface allows the presentation of not only new types of visual display but also interestingly designed voice instructions and material flow management. The system simulates many-sided and complicated assembly tasks in various areas of manufacturing. We use a half-silvered mirror and a face tracking system to detect the mutual interaction between users and 3D object imaging. The positional sensors of the workbench and the precise tracking of markers allow significant information on the exact position of real assembly components to be harvested. On the basis of continuous monitoring of material flow the system knows how to recognize that the value of the quantity has fallen below the permissible value which is useful for the indirect monitoring of stocks and enables upcoming predictions of low states in storerooms. The paper presents a complex AR system and the interaction techniques for improved productivity of the entire assembly process. The interaction techniques of the AR system have been tested by an industrial company. The test results are explained and show that our AR system gives powerful virtual tools to create assembly instructions without human error.

Adjustments of RepRap type printer workbench

Monika Teliskova; Jozef Torek; Tomáš Cmorej; Marek Kočiško; Jaroslav Petrus

Like most new technologies, also 3D printing has long belonged among narrow specialized fields, but the potential of this technology is enormous and so it is gradually being applied in more and more new sectors. The aim of this article is to point out the 3D printer workbench adjustment possibility of the RepRap project and test individual materials for working boards. Gradually, the text approaches the issue of 3D printing, basic adjustments of the workbench top, as well as the benefits of individual coatings.
