This paper briefly introduces a study of the determination of possible wind power potential in Kahramanmaras, For this purpose, a wind observation mast and its measurement equipment was established at the main campus of kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University. Wind meteorological data were collected and recorded between the dates of October 05, 2010 and April 24, 2012. The recorded data were analyzed and processed using the WAsP program. The results of these analyses are used to estimate the wind power potential in the region and select the best fitted wind turbines to the site characteristics. Suitable sites were selected according to the created wind power and energy maps.

In recent years, as a result of the rapid growth of energy demand in the regions where the majority of the rivers has increased quite interested in the hydroelectric power plants. A hydroelectric power plant consists of hydraulic turbines, consisting of generators and speed regulation system. Function of the speed regulation system provide to give instantaneously requested energy from depending on the interconnected system. The function of the speed regulator in the system is set the position of the setting wings that control the amount of water entering the hydraulic turbine. Speed regulators are controlled by reference to the active power and frequency parameters of the system. In this study, it has been created model of a hydroelectric power plant and has been obtained transfer function of the entire system. Fuzzy-PID controller PID controller is supplied to the speed regulation system. According to obtained simulation results, it is observed that fuzzy –PID controller provides better speed response than PI controller.

A PCB machine that can draw trace lines and drill holes on a PCB card is developed. The machine consists of a computer, a driving circuit and a mechanical setup. The overall system is operated and controlled from a computer through a program written in Matlab. A relay based driving circuit is developed to perform operations onto the mechanical setup. A communication protocol is established between the computer and the driving circuit through LPT1 port. In this initial work, we demonstrate that the machine successfully draws a trace line and drill holes on two pads which are at both ends of the line. Bu calismada hidroelektrik santrallerin (HES) gelisimi arastirilmistir. Bu tur santraller elektrik uretiminde, diger yenilenebilir ve surdurulebilir enerji kaynaklarindan daha fazla oneme sahiptir. Bu amacla once dunyada HES’lerin durumu incelenmis, daha sonra Turkiye ve Kahramanmaras olceginde isletmede olan ve yapimi planlanan hidroelektrik santralleri arastirilmistir. Kahramanmaras’taki santrallerin planlanan ve calisan olmak uzere Turkiye ile kiyaslamasi yapilmis ve sonuclar tablolar halinde verilmistir. Turkiye’de calismakta olan santrallerin toplam gucu 14300 MW, Kahramanmaras’ta ise bu guc 800,15 MW dir. Kahramanmaras’in Turkiye’ye olan katkisi %5,59’olarak hesaplanmistir
