Abstract The decay rate of B → K ∗ γ (890)γ is estimated in the framework of QCD sum rules combined with vector meson dominance. We obtain: Γ( B → K ∗ γ)/Γ( b →sγ) = 0.28 ± 0.11 . As a byproduct we find that Γ( B → Q γ)⋍Γ( B → K ∗ γ) .
