OTOTRANSPLANTASYON: LİTERATÜR DERLEMESİ

With the long term success of the dental implants which provide satisfactory patient comfort, in some situations autotransplantation may be the choice of treatment for missing and impacted tooth. Again impacted teeth, especially the maxillary canines if they can be treated with orthodontics but the patient does not want it because of economic insufficiency or lack of time etc. autotransplantation can be considered. Because it improves aesthetics; allows normal alveolar and facial growth; maintains arch integrity, phonetics, occlusion and the sense of proprioception which dental implants do not have, it has many advantages. Besides, it is economically viable and fastest way to replacing missing tooth. Autotransplantation has high success rate if the prognostic factors taken into consideration. In this literature review, autotransplantation with aspects of success rates, prognostic factors, complications and different treatment methods were presented

STAFNE KEMİK KAVİTESİ: 2 OLGU SUNUMU

OZET Bu calismanin amaci, Stafne kemik kavitesi bulunan 2 olgunun klinik ve radyolojik ozellikleri ile 1 yillik takiplerini sunmaktir. xa0Stafne kemik kavitesi bulunan iki erkek hastanin radyolojik ve klinik bulgulari degerlendirildi. Klinik olarak herhangi bir sikayeti bulunmayan 65 yasinda erkek hastanin sol mandibular premolar bolgesinde mental foramenin hemen altinda, 64 yasinda erkek hastanin ise sag mandibular birinci molar disinin apikalinde lokalize Stafne kemik kavitesi tespit edildi. Radyolojik ve klinik olarak 1 yillik takibi yapilan iki olguda herhangi bir problem olmadigi goruldu. Stafne kemik kavitesi, genellikle rutin kontroller sirasinda tesadufen fark edilir. Tedavisi periyodik kontrollere dayanan konservatif tedavidir. Stafne bone cavity was determined both 65 years old male patient with any complaints clinically at mandibular premolar region below the mental foramen and 64-year-old male patient at mandibular first molar tooth apical. xa0xa0Any problem was observed radiological and clinical 1 year follow-up in both patients. ORAL LİKEN PLANUSTAN GELİŞEN SKUAMÖZ HÜCRELİ KARSİNOM: VAKA RAPORU

Lichenoid reactions represent a family of lesions with different etiologic factors and common clinical and histologic appearance. Lichen planus is a relatively common chronic mucocutaneous lichenoid lesion and the most important complication is malignant transformation. One of the malignant transformation is squamous cell carcinoma. Squamous cell carcinoma is the most common malignancy affecting the oral cavity. The aim of this case report is to present clinical, radiological and histopathological features of squamous cell carcinoma arising from oral lichen planus in a 76-year-old man
