Abstract The line strenghts of H 2 O bands ν 1 + ν 2 + ν 3 and ν 2 + 2 ν 3 have been measured using a high-resolution Nd-glass single-mode laser spectrophotometer. The parameters of 33 lines were found by fitting a Voigt contour to experimental line profile. The vibration-rotation interaction affecting the line strength was taken into account by using the F factor in the three-parametric form, and its constants for ν 1 + ν 2 + ν 3 and ν 2 + 2 ν 3 bands were found. There is a good agreement between line intensities calculated using these constants and the experimental values.

Abstract This paper presents the results of the measurements of absolute values of absorption coefficients of the CF 2 Cl 2 molecule in the regions 915–915.7 ( P branch), 923–923.5 ( Q branch), and 929.55–930.10 cm −1 ( R branch) carried out using a diode laser spectrometer with high resolution (10 −4 –10 −3 cm −1 ), and vibration-rotation transitions have been identified in these ranges. The integrated intensity of the ν 6 band CF 2 35 Cl 2 s = 292 cm −2 atm −1 and the first derivative of the dipole moment ∥ ϖμ ϖq 6 ∥ = 0.38 D have been found.

Determination of the dipole moment function of an ozone molecule on the basis of vibrational transition probabilities

O. K. Voitsekhovskaya; Yu. S. Makushkin; O. N. Sulakshina

Analytical relationships are obtained that connect the vibrational transition moments to molecular and electrooptical parameters. On the basis of experimental data on vibrational band intensities, coefficients of the expansions of the dipole moment function of O3 are determined by using the above-mentioned expressions.
