Four new species of the genus Philanthaxia Deyrolle, 1864 from Southeast Asia and comments on P. iris Obenberger, 1938 (Coleoptera, Buprestidae, Thomassetiini)

Abstract Descriptions of four new species of the genus Philanthaxia Deyrolle, 1864: Philanthaxia pseudoaenea sp. n. (Thailand), Philanthaxia jakli sp. n. (Indonesia, Sumatra), Philanthaxia chalcogenioides sp. n. (Indonesia, Sabah) and Philanthaxia lombokana sp. n. (Indonesia, Lombok) are given. The new species and male genitalia are illustrated and compared with the most similar congeners. Sexual dimorphism of Philanthaxia iris Obenberger, 1938 is described and discussed.

A new species of Ubychia Rost, 1893 (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Brachycerinae) from the island Samos, Greece, with a discussion on the distribution of the genus

The new species, Ubychia assingi sp. nov., an endogean and anophthalmous weevil is described from the Greek island Samos. A list of species of the genus is given and the distribution and a posible biogeographic scenario for the genus is discussed.

Seychellister mornicus , a new genus and species of Clavigeritae (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Pselaphinae) from Seychelles

Seychellister mornicus, gen. and sp. nov. is described based on three specimens collected by sifting of leaf-litter in Mahé, Seychelles. The genus is tentatively placed in the subtribe Clavigerodina (Pselaphinae: Clavigeritae: Clavigerini).

New species and records of Clavigeritae (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae) from Africa and Asia

New species of Clavigeritae, Monodiger ivoricus sp. n. from Ivory Coast and Disarthricerus bruneicus sp. n. from Brunei are described. New records are given for the following species: Zuluclavodes Hlaváč, 2007 new genus for Zambia, Fustigerinus formicarius Bryant, 1943 (new combination), new genus and species for Ivory Coast and Hoplitoxenus joannae Jeannel, 1960, new genus and species for Cameroon. A new locality in South Africa is recorded for Ischyroceros mirus Reichensperger, 1915.

Eudraces barclayi sp. nov., with some notes on the genus Eudraces Marshall (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Entiminae: Myorhinini)

Eudraces barclayi sp. n. is described from South Africa, illustrated and compared with other species of the genus. Echinocnemodes Voss, 1962 is proposed as a new junior synonym of Eudraces Marshall, 1926. Holcolaccus sparsus (Voss, 1959) is proposed as a new combination from Eudraces Marshall, 1926. Eudraces zumpti Voss, 1959 is a new junior synonym of Eremnus angustirostris Marshall, 1937. A lectotype is designated for Eudraces flavirostris Marshall, 1926. A key to the known Eudraces species is given.

Paracrossidius radekcervenkai (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Aphodiinae), a new species from China

A new species of Paracrossidius Balthasar, 1932 (Coleoptera Scarabaeidae: Aphodiinae) from China is described and compared with similar species. Paracrossidius was originally described as a monotypic subgenus based on the type species Aphodius (Paracrossidius) instigator Balthasar, 1932 from Sichuan Province, China. Paracrossidius is currently considered a genus with 10 previously described species, most of which inhabit various parts of China (Dellacasa et al. 2016).

The Pselaphinae (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) of Madagascar. VI. Description of Ambohitantella banari gen. et sp. n. with notes on Nearticerodes Jeannel, 1954 and Triceratomerus Jeannel, 1960

A new genus and a new species, Ambohitantella banari gen. et sp. n., from Madagascar (Ambohitantely Special Reserve) is described. The diagnosis is given for related genera Triceratomerus Jeannel, 1960 and Nearticerodes Jeannel, 1954. The lectotype is designated for Triceratomerus sparsepunctatus Jeannel, 1960. An identification key to genera of malagasy Clavigerodina with 3-segmeneted antennae is provided.

A new species of Neuraphes Thomson, 1859 (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Scydmaeninae) from Kazakhstan

Neuraphes (s. str.) kazakhstanicus, new species of the tribe Cyrtoscydmini, is described from Kazakhstan. The genus is for the first time recorded from Central Asia. A detailed morphological study is presented.

Endogean and cavernicolous Coleoptera of the Balkans. XIV. Melledobythus bilandzijae, new genus and species of cavernicolous Bythinini (Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae) from the Island Mljet, Croatia

Melledobythus bilandzijae, new cavernicolous genus and species of the tribe Bythinini is described from the island of Mljet, Croatia. A detailed morphological study is presented. The new genus belongs to the phylogenetic lineage of small and anophthalmous Bythinini that lack sutural elytral striae.
