A zirconocene–η2-phosphabenzyne complex as an intermediate en route to functional phosphinines

Pascal Le Floch; Andreas Kolb; François Mathey

A (η2-phosphabenzyne)dicyclopentadienylzirconium–trimethylphosphine adduct is obtained as a stable complex by thermal loss of RH from a Cp2Zr(R)-2-substituted phosphinine (R = Me or Ph) in the presence of PMe3; CC and CO multiple bonds selectively insert into the Zr–C2(ring) bond of this complex.

Chemical Communications | 1999

Synthesis of functional 1,4-diphosphaindenes and their related anions

Patrick Rosa; Louis Ricard; François Mathey; Pascal Le Floch

Treatment of a 1-zircona-4-phosphaindene complex with PBr3 affords a 1-bromo-1,4-diphosphaindene, which can be used as a convenient precursor for the preparation of the related 1,4-diphosphaindenyl mono- and tri-anions and (1R)-functional derivatives.

Chemical Communications | 1996

Alkylation of 2-bromophosphinines using lithium trialkylborohydrides

Duncan Carmichael; Pascal Le Floch; Hans Trauner; François Mathey

2-Bromophosphinines are converted into 2-ethylphosphinines by successive reactions with lithium triethylborohydride and iodine.

Journal of The Chemical Society, Chemical Communications | 1993

Synthesis of the parent phosphinine and phosphaalkyne by flash thermolysis of vinyldiallyl- and triallyl-phosphine

Pascal Le Floch; François Mathey

The parent phosphinine is obtained in ca. 40% yield by thermolysis of vinyldialiylphosphine at 700 °C at 10–3 Torr; under the same conditions, triallylphosphine mainly yields HCP which can be purified by trap-to-trap distillation.

Angewandte Chemie | 2007

From a Stable Dianion to a Stable Carbenoid

Thibault Cantat; Xavier Jacques; Louis Ricard; Xavier F. Le Goff; Nicolas Mézailles; Pascal Le Floch

Journal of the American Chemical Society | 1993

Palladium(0)-catalyzed functionalization of bromophosphinines

Pascal Le Floch; Duncan Carmichael; Louis Ricard; François Mathey

Organometallics | 1997

1,3,2-DIAZAPHOSPHININES AND -DIAZAARSININES AS PRECURSORS FOR POLYFUNCTIONAL PHOSPHININES AND ARSININES

Narcis Avarvari; Pascal Le Floch; and Louis Ricard; François Mathey

Organometallics | 1992

Structural and electrochemical study of a 2,2'-biphosphinine

Pascal Le Floch; Duncan Carmichael; Louis Ricard; François Mathey; Anny Jutand; Christian Amatore

Journal of Organic Chemistry | 2007

A joint experimental and theoretical study of the palladium-catalyzed electrophilic allylation of aldehydes

Olivier Piechaczyk; Thibault Cantat; Nicolas Mézailles; Pascal Le Floch

Inorganic Chemistry | 2007

Synthesis, X-Ray, and Electronic Structures of a New Nickel Dibromide Complex. Activity in the Regioselective Catalyzed Dimerization of Ethylene into 1-Butene

Guilhem Mora; Steven van Zutphen; Christian Klemps; Louis Ricard; Yves Jean; Pascal Le Floch
