Una tensa oscuridad: interrogando el abordaje psicosocial de la subjetividad

This article addresses some reflections considering the psychosocial study of subjectivity, emphasizing the transdisciplinary dialogue and the work of authors that move away from the conventional frame of Social Psychology. The text indicates some of the tensions and paradoxes that arise from the study of the self, as well as some of the crucial theoretical contributions to think about them. Briefly, and with a Foucaultian perspective, we will point out the issues of complexity that encompass studying the historicity of the subject, the temporary and coherent experience, the corporal and material dimensions, the unconscious dimension, the tension between subjection and agency and the gendered characteristic of subjectivity.

Procesos de subjetivación en el contexto neoliberal. El caso de la evaluación del profesorado y la investigación universitaria.

The aim of this article is to propose a critical reflection on the subjective effects of assessment practices at work in the context of neoliberal governmental rationality. We address this inquiry to the professors’assessment at university. To this end, we propose to organize this paper in two large sections. In the first one, we analyze four points that we consider relevant in order to analyze the main features of neoliberal rationality: expertocracy; psychologizing and individualization; approval of social spheres and governmental rationality as a producer/consumer of freedom. The second part of the paper focuses on a reflection on the main features of professor’s assessment as a technique of government and its subjective effects. We conclude on the need to shift the debate on assessment towards the public domain.

Tensiones entre el emprendimiento y el trabajo autónomo en las políticas europeas de empleo: un nuevo capítulo en la relación entre el “trabajo como empleo” y el “trabajo sobre sí

Este articulo aborda las medidas sobre impulso del emprendimiento promovidas por las instituciones europeas y adoptadas en Espana en los ultimos anos. En particular, el articulo problematiza el vinculo entre “emprendimiento” y “empleo autonomo” que caracteriza al diseno de estas politicas. A partir de un analisis de fuentes documentales, se pone de relieve que la vinculacion entre emprendimiento y empleo autonomo da lugar a dos procesos simultaneos: por un lado, una contradiccion entre sus objetivos –la creacion de empleo, el crecimiento economico y la innovacion– y los instrumentos propuestos para cumplirlos. Por otro, la promocion de un modelo cultural que se construye en oposicion a la idea de “empleo asalariado” y que desplaza los riesgos sociales hacia el individuo, dando lugar a una ruptura de los modelos solidaristas de politicas sociales y de empleo.
