The present work constitutes an exercise of reflection dealing with the critical task. Its main goal is to incorporate, partially at least, the dimension of what has not been known, not been thought but been acted through the critical action. This is a space of reflection that must not necessarily be thought as a space of domination. The essay considers that the idea of rationality is a discursive logic and an heritage from modernity that still characterizes the critical task. A space that, in our opinion, makes difficult any possibilities for second order change inhabiting that critic In this exercise we regard mainly sources from post-structuralism feminisms critical theory (Haraway, Butler, Braidotti, Keller, Birules, etc.). Socioconstructinonism is deployed for mapping the space for critical task, but only as a possibility because our space is Psychology. Nevertheless our reflection reaches non feminist post-structuralism critical theories. Here, the main objective is to increase in some degree our conscience about a dark part of the critical task with the purpose of increasing its transformation potential. Some specific questions are outstanding for the exercise: the turn social construction turn, the subject of desire through discourse and the double responsibility of the critic, on itself and the world. Finally we suggest some conceptual tools that could help to undermine the rationalist inheritance that still inhabits the critical task: the relation between imaginary and desire, experience as a tension, and subjectivity as a vehicle of power, resistance and reflexivity.

This paper aims to presentan analysis of sexual gender from a socio-constructionism approach. tead of looking at the dominant cognitive and socio-cognitivist perspective —S. Bem, H. Markus and so on— in the study of gender identity and sexual stereotypes as a background for the research, the author proposes to take critical post-structuralist feminist thought as a theoretical base for the study of construction of gender and subjectivity. Since the author thinks that language is a tool for transforming and creating reality, it is vety important in this paper how subjectivities are presented as a creation of language games that give them their consistency and form. The next important matter that is presented in this article is power relationships —from a Foucaultian approach— actingupon subjectivities formation as forms of regulation. So, from this point of view, discourse analysis appears the best methodological strategy for discovering the subjectivities related to gender and sexual differences. The results of the discourse analysis of womens ordinary explanations about themselves show different subjectivities with different agency levels conceming the reproduction or transformation of the traditional subjectivity of women.

New and renewed medical health issues have appeared in the last years. Their main characteristic is the absence of an organic cause, in bio-psycho-medical terms. This paper tackles some of this issues, focusing specially in patients with chronic pain and a diagnose of fibromyalgia. Its main objective is to analyze the way in which people with this diagnose and that participate in patients community organizations, transform their corporal discomfort in psychosocial discomfort. This has been done using qualitative research methods, specifically focus groups and content analysis. The main results of this research show that people that are able to do this show improvement in their quality of life. At the same time, it shows the necessity of adding gender, social inequities and power relationships as important elements in public health.
