We analyze four different points of view in the teaching of computer science at school, taking into account the aims of institutions, i.e, computer sciences as a formative, operational, informative and pedagogical tool.We present a particular experience that links the four points of view proposed in a curriculum for primary and high school. This is the result of a two year work developed under a project between our research group, InE, and a private institution of our city. We believe our approach is quite original because these four points of view were traditionally considered as opposites.

The motivation of this study are the academicrequirements and the high number of students in the earlystages of Engineering courses. There has been in recentyears, the index of approval on basic subjects has beenfalling gradually, and in some cases reaches worryinglevels. Because it is intended to develop mechanisms formonitoring the process of learning, without significantlyincreasing the dedication of teachers. In addition tostreamlining the teacher resource, it will achieve greaterparticipation of students in their own training. It is expectedas a result, improve understanding among students of theconcepts covered by the disciplines and refine its applicationin real situations, with students stock of Post-Graduate. Thisproposal could help in the generation of material support, mentoring groups by area of expertise and as a motivatorfor freshmen who do not have exact knowledge of trainingand performance of the future engineer. Keywords – News technologies for teaching and learning, contribution to teachers, student support. This paper reports the study of caseon the multidisciplinary work of institutionalpha. This institution has a computerslaboratories of the last generation, allowingmore than 50% of the classes are practical, themost of the professors have master or phd andwork in the area of the course. Partnership withleading companies in IT are held by institution. But in this scenario there was a gap about how tohave the students could acquire the practicalknowledge that are experienced inside companies. The solution was to apply knowledge managementin enterprises of the region throughmultidisciplinary work, which consisted of aconsultant team to analyse and provideimprovements for environment. We couldconclude that the groups worked so interactiveand focused on cooperation and collaborationwas gaining space in businesses and the flow ofknowledge was acquired through processing andtransfer of tacit knowledge and explicitgenerating new knowledge.
