The Chester mystery cycle : a new edition with modernised spelling

This edition of the medieval Chester cycle - 24 plays dramatizing the history of the world from Creation to Doomsday - is based on all eight extant manuscripts. Drawing on his earlier scholarly edition of the plays from the Early English Text Society, Professor Mills here presents a simplified edition of the full text.
