尼泊尔Mw 7.9级地震同震垂直位移与断层运动模型

2015年4月25日尼泊尔地区发生了Mw 7.9级地震,发震断层位于印度板块与欧亚板块碰撞边界带,此次地震是一次典型的板块逆冲型事件。利用中国境内加密的GPS同震观测资料,融合ALOS-2卫星L波段的InSAR(interferometric synthetic aperture radar)同震形变数据,基于最小二乘方法获得了此次地震的同震垂直位移场。同震垂直位移结果表明,此次地震造成尼泊尔加德满都地区抬升约0.95 m,珠穆朗玛峰地区受地震的影响有所下降,其主峰的沉降量为2~3 cm,中国境内的希夏邦马主峰沉降约为20 cm。地区利用改进的二维弹性半空间位错模型反演了发震断层运动参数,本文模型显示此次地震的断层面破裂宽度约为60 km,平均滑动量达到4 m,相当于Mw 7.89级。

2008年汶川地震中断坡-滑脱断层破裂:龙门山挤压隆升的大地测量证据

青藏高原东缘龙门山构造隆升一直存在挤压造山模式和下地壳层流模式之争.下地壳层流模型认为, 龙门山隆升与水平缩短关系不大, 山前断层只是高原、盆地间差异性垂直运动的结果, 高原之下无需挤压模式中的大规模水平滑脱层.本文利用近场密集的同震形变数据, 约束汶川地震破裂几何特征及同震滑动分布.反演结果显示汶川地震撕裂龙门山中南段近水平滑脱层, 宽度达到60~80 km, 释放能量约占总标量地震矩的12%, 在16~21 km深度出现两三个滑动量高达6~7 m的破裂区.深部低角度破裂往上转为高角度逆冲, 沿龙门山中央断裂以约55°倾角出露地表.汶川地震破裂的几何产状和滑移幅度表明龙门山冲断带发育大规模的近水平滑脱层, 是青藏高原东缘地壳缩短增厚、龙门山挤压隆升的重要证据.

Co-seismic deformation of the 2010 Mw6.9 Yushu earthquake from InSAR images ☆

Abstract: Co-seismic ground-surface deformation of the Yushu earthquake on April 14, 2010 is studied on the basis of interferometry principle by using InSAR images from ALOS PALSAR and ENVISAT ASAR pairs. The observed maximum line-of-sight displacement is 54 cm, which is equivalent to a sinistral strike slip of 180 cm on the surface. The location of macro-epicenter is very close to the epicenter determined by in situ investigation, suggesting that InSAR is an ideal tool for quick identification of the macro-epicenter, and thus for timely disaster assessment after a destructive earthquake.
