This paper proposes the use of a wearable device for visualization and control in association with an UAV applied to the structural inspection of buildings. More specifically, an AR. Drone is controlled through head positions and gestures performed by the operator wearing a Google Glass, and the images captured by the drone are visualized on Glasss screen. We discuss the problems that arise when such a solution is developed, along with the limitations that come from todays available technology and how to overcome them.

The productive potential, adaptability and stability were evaluated in 16 Pennisetum spp. genotypes under the influence of four nitrogen levels in six evaluations cycles. The experiment was carried out in 2009, at the Itambe Experimental Station of Pernambuco, Agricultural Research Institute-IPA, Northeast Brazil, in split plots scheme, with four nitrogen (N) levels (control, 30, 60 and 90 kg ha-1 cut-1) and 16 Pennisetum spp. genotypes (G) (10 new interspecific hybrids, one cultivated interspecific hybrid and five elephant grass varieties), in three blocks. The cycles (CI) comprised evaluations in 2010 (04/21, 07/19 and 09/28) and 2011 (01/06, 04/07 and 08/03). The forage mass (MF), the leaf length (CF), the leaf width (LF) and the internode length (CE) were influenced by triple interaction (N x G x CI). The new hybrid, IPA-7 (Pioneiro x IPA Bulk-1), was not influenced by the interaction, presenting high adaptability (b1= 1) and high stability (s2di= 0) for the MF, reaching average of 0.88 kg DM shoot-1 cut-1, 76.24 cm and 78.79 mm for MF, CF and CE, respectively. This hybrid can be selected for the next phase of the Breeding Program of Pennisetum spp.

EnglishThe work was conducted at the Experimental Station of Itambe, of the Pernambuco State Agricultural Research Enterprise, to evaluate the adaptability and stability of Pennisetum sp. clones under pasture and Helminthosporium sp. incidence. The experimental design was randomized blocks, with 5 replicates and 16 treatments. Plots measured 5x5 m with one meter between rows spacing. Helminthosporium sp. incidence was studied by note scale according to spot presence on the leaves of the studied genotypes. With regards to genotype adaptability, Mineirao (0.31), Taiwan A 25 P 18 (0.50), SEA P 36 (0.28), SEA P 37 (0.38) and Gigante de Pinda P 73 (0.46) had regression coefficients below population average (β 1i ), indicating unfavorable environment adaptability. Genotypes Pusa Napier 1 P 25 (1.58), Pusa Napier 1 P 27 (1.55), Pusa Napier 1 P 28 (1.47), Pusa Napier 1 P 32 (1.28), Pusa Napier 1 P 33 (1.22), SEA P 35 (1.60), HV 241 (1.41) and Pioneiro (1.36) had better response in favorable environments, and Pusa Napier 1 P 31 and Roxo de Botucatu P 80 had ample adaptability. Hybrid HV 241 and Pioneiro had significant deviations from regression by the F test (p portuguesFoi realizado um trabalho na Estacao Experi- mental de Itambe, do Instituto Agronomico de Pernambuco-IPA, com o objetivo de avaliar a adaptabilidade e estabilidade de clones de Pennisetum sp. sob pastejo, considerando a incidencia de Helminthosporium sp. EnglishMorphological components and chemical composition of Mimosa caesalpiniifolia Benth plants submitted to phosphorus fertilization and at different season were evaluated. The experiment was conducted at the Itambe Experimental Station of Pernambuco Agronomical Institute. Statistical analysis assumed a randomized block design, with split-plot treatment design composed by phosphorus levels (0, 100 and 200 kg of P2O5 per hectare) as main plots and evaluation season (dry and rainy) as split-plots. Experimental area was a sabia woodlot, approximately 13 years old, measuring 0.3 ha with plant spacing of 3.0 x 3.0 m and 210 plants. Each experimental plot comprised one plant surrounded by eight competitive plants, not submitted to the treatments. Morphological evaluations were conducted at six periods, with 60 days interval, when leaves and branches up to 5 mm diameter were collected. Phosphorus effect was observed only for branch length, being 202.1, 193.6 and 173.5 cm for 0, 100 and 200 kg P2O5/ha, respectively. For the remaining variables, effects were only observed for evaluation period, with average values of 195.3 cm, 24.6, 8.8 mm and 3.8 for plant height, branch number and diameter, and thorn number, respectively. Interaction between evaluation period and phosphorus fertilization was observed only for NDF of branches, and both period and phosphorus fertilization on tannin content of branches. portuguesForam avaliados os componentes morfologicas e composicao quimica de plantas de Mimosa caesalpiniifolia Benth submetidas a adubacao fosfatada e em diferentes epocas do ano.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate, during the dry and wet seasons the mineral composition of tree and bush species occurring in pasture areas near the cities of Itambe, Caruaru and Serra Talhada in the humid, intermediate, and dry climatic zones of the state of Pernambuco (Brazil). Leaves and branches up to 5.0 mm in diameter were collected for the determination of N, P, Mg and K concentrations. Five, 8, and 14 tree and bush species occurred in the pastures of Itambe, Caruaru and Serra Talhada respectively. In Itambe, N content was influenced by species, while P and K contents were affected by species and season. In Caruaru, N, P and K contents were not influenced by season and in Serra Talhada, only P and K contents were influenced by species and season. Chemical composition was generally more adequate in the rainy season
