This brief is concerned with the robust D-stability problem for a class of complex singularly perturbed systems with state delay. According to singular system approach, sufficient conditions, which are tested easily, are obtained by introduce delay-dependent state feedback, to ensure that the two-time-scale systems are regular, impulse free and D -stable, that is, all its poles are located with a specified disk for all small positive parameter epsiv isin (0,epsiv*) .

This paper deals with the problem of dissipative control for stochastic descriptor systems with time-delays based on the extended Itô stochastic differential formula. We consider the design of a state-feedback dissipative controller such that the closed-loop systems is mean-square asymptotically stable and strictly (Q, S,R) - dissipative. A sufficient condition on the existence of dissipative controllers is established by means of the singular stochastic Lyapunov methods and linear matrix inequalities. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

The paper deals with the problem of Hinfin output feedback control for the stochastic singular systems with time-varying norm-bounded parameter uncertainties and random state which are subject to stochastic disturbances. The problem addressed is to design a output feedback controller such that the resulting closed-loop system is regular, impulse free and mean-square stable for all admissible uncertainties and a prescribed Hinfin performance is achieved. Finally, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented method.

The guaranteed cost control problem for a class of nonlinear singular systems with time-delay is studied in this paper. The problem is to design a memoryless state feedback controller such that the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable and the closed-loop cost function value is less than a specified upper bound for all admissible uncertainties. A sufficient condition for the existence of such controllers is presented in terms of the solvability to a certain system of LMIs, and a parametrized representation of a set of guaranteed cost controllers is provided by the feasible solutions to the system of LMIs. Furthermore, a procedure is given to select an optimal guaranteed cost control law in the sense of minimizing the upper bound of the cost function

This article is concerned with the problem of H∞ filtering for output PDFs of the stochastic singular dynamics which is modeled by B-spline functions. For a given stochastic singular system, the purpose is to design static and dynamical filter such that resulting filtering error system is regular, impulse free and mean-square stable and guarantees H∞ performance. We also derive sufficient linear matrix inequality(LMI) conditions for the existence of such a filter with free variables. Finally, we give a numerical example to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
