The focus of this research is the use of an Educational Technology in Health (ETH) to train the family caregiver in the adherence of hypertensive users to treatment. The participation of the effective family is a factor that can interfere favorably in the other factors, due to its salutary importance in the involvement of the health-disease process of its members. Participant research with the objective of evaluating the changes in the participation of the family caregiver in the adherence of the hypertensive user to the treatment with the application of the Educational Technology in Health, carried out in a Primary Health Care Unit (PHCU) in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil, with a group of eleven family caregivers (CF) indicated by the same number of hypertensive users registered in the cited PHCU. The ETH was elaborated based on the assumptions of health education. The ETH consists of 11 (eleven) weekly meetings, with an average duration of sixty minutes. The information was organized through the Bardin content analysis. After the analysis of the results with the application of ETH, we noticed the occurrence of learning among the FC, but in an unequal way. It is seen that the deficit of previous knowledge about arterial hypertension and the treatment differentiated between them, since each one reported diversified experiences.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the changes in the participation of the family caregiver in the treatment of the hypertensive person with the application of the Educational Technology in Health (ETH). METHOD Participant research carried out in a Primary Health Care Unit with 11 family caregivers (FC). The ETH was elaborated based on health education and applied in ten meetings between June and August 2016. We organized the results into categories. RESULTS FCs experienced learning experiences through the exchange of information, socialization of experiences, and linkage establishments. The FCs were encouraged to share their doubts and experiences, so that, supported by listening to the professional, they felt welcomed and determined to fulfill their role with hypertensive relatives. Final considerations: The changes that have taken place have been highlighted in the learning of FCs and their commitment to family and self-care, as well as to the conviction that the family environment is indicated to make these changes effective.

The Prenatal Care (APN) appears as an instrument to extend assistance beyond the purely curative question , enabling these pregnant women for self-care and therefore to maintain their health. It is important to point out that prenatal care should not be restricted to the clinical and obstetric actions, but include health education actions in the routine of comprehensive care, as well as anthropological, social, economic and cultural rights, which should be known by professionals who assist pregnant woman, seeking to understand them in the context in which they live and encouraging the pregnant woman globally participate in decisions involving their health. This study aimed to evaluate the prenatal care with a focus on structure and process from the perspective of the Family Health Team (EqSF) and coordinators of primary care units in Health (UAP). Research evaluative type, held on 20 UAP with 14 coordinators of units, 36 nurses and 35 doctors. The UAP presented with an unsatisfactory structure for prenatal care quality. The physical plant, material resources, the system of care and the queues have exposed the need for a more careful look, by the management of the units. According to the criteria established in this study, the UAP are presented with an unsatisfactory structure for prenatal care quality.
