Computational device authentication via fluctuations of analog-to-digital converter

The article is devoted to experimental studies and modeling of the fluctuations of analog-to-digital converter for dynamic authentication of computational devices. Modelling of phase trajectories of the fluctuation spectrum is made using the oscillator model. Phase portraits parameters allow to perform computer authentication. Temporary structures in the spectrum of the fluctuations are recorded experimentally.

Microcontroller PIC based traffic light system with collision detection

This paper presents research results of the novel system to control traffic lights which is based on the common European model. One of the most important measures for dealing with this problem is to adopt favorable traffic signal control strategy. The main objective of this research is to develop an effective procedure to control the traffic, which tries to reduce possibility of traffic jams. Additionally, the paper proposes a design and implementation of a microcontroller based system to control traffic lights on an intersection. This traffic light system comprises of PIC32MX440F256H Programmable Integrated Circuit microcontroller, crystal oscillator, power section, and diodes emitting light. For the implementation of the intersection traffic control system, the authors have written within the MPLAB X IDE environment a C language program. The developed system has been tested by constructing a prototype that resembles the real application.

Improvement of data acquisition systems for the measurement of physical-chemical environmental properties

The problem of ensuring the effective functioning of the measuring data acquisition system of RLC-parameters for non-electric objects such as the objects of an environment, food industry, agriculture etc. has been actualized. It has been suggested to conduct remote metrological control at the site of analytical units exploitation with the use of differential measurement method and code-controlled impedance measures. The exemplary code-controlled conductivity measures structure of resistive, inductive and capacitive nature has been proposed. Their metrological characteristics have been analyzed. The possibility of implementing such a code-controlled measure as an integrated circuit has been shown.

The loading computation algorithm on bearings of rollers of belt conveyor

The object of work is definition of loading on rollers of belt conveyor, and further creation of algorithm and computer program for definition of the maximum loading after which in bearings of the roller the jamming moment begins. The jamming moment, is a consequence of distortion of bearing rings and is one of the negative coefficients influencing working capacity and durability of the bearing. Certainly, non recurrent occurrence of the jamming moment will not lead to instant destruction of the bearing, but it is known that monotonous, uniform operation of the product without peak critical loadings and multiple repeating jamming moments can lead to jamming and thereof to bearing destruction. Scope of results application received by authors is method improvements of definition of loads of bearings and definitions of loading on rollers. The results of this work can be used at different research of belt and roller conveyors to increase reliability and durability of its knots.

The etalon models of linguistic variables for sniffing-attack detection

Intensive development of information systems has led to an increase in malicious software, which is associated with the emergence of new types of cyber attacks. Expanding impact of cyber attacks aimed at a variety of resources information system initiates creation of special countermeasures that can be effective in the emergence of new types of threats from unknown or ill-defined properties. There are enough effective developments, are used to solve problems of cyber attacks identification, for example, the method of linguistic etalons formation for the detection of intrusion systems, which does not disclose the mechanism of the formation of etalons settings for sniffing attacks. In this work, was developed etalons model of linguistic variables to detect sniffing attacks, which is due to assess the state of the information system and the process of forming the parameters of etalons will allow to formalize the process of obtaining the parameters of etalons for a given linguistic variables in specific environment in solving attacks detection tasks on computer systems.

Model of thermal conduction for layered elements of radio electronic systems with foreign inclusions

In this paper the boundary value problem for heat conduction of an isotropic piecewise homogeneous plate with a through foreign inclusions, heated by a heat flow concentrated at one of its boundary surfaces is considered. Coefficient of thermal conductivity for the system as a whole is described by asymmetric unit functions. The result is a heat conduction equation with discontinuous and singular coefficients for the given structure. After a piecewise linear approximation of the temperature at the surface layers of the plate and of lateral inclusions, Fourier integral transformation was applied, as result of which a numerical-analytical solution of the initial problem is constructed. The temperature field in the structure “plate-inclusion” structure (the plate material is ceramics VK94-I ceramics, the inclusion material is silver) has been calculated and analyzed.

Analytic design of the optimum control system for five-degree-of-freedom stand simulator of the spacecraft motion

INCREASING METROLOGICAL AUTONOMY OF IN-PLANT MEASURING SYSTEMS

The authors offer to solve the problem of providing traceability of measurements by increasing metrological autonomy of in-plant measuring systems. The paper shows the expedience of increasing metrological autonomy by creating a “virtual” reference. There are analysed possible variants of implementation of the “virtual” reference, which will provide high metrological stability of measurements at insignificant additional expenses. The authors point out the necessity of creation of universal technical and programmatic means of mutual comparison for the in-plant measuring systems to increase the reliability of measurements in the conditions of metrological autonomy.
