Este trabalho problematiza os atos toxicomaniacos e delinquenciais na adolescencia e as intervencoes clinicas e legais que ocorrem nestas situacoes. A ineficacia da injuncao judicial e a nao-adesao ao tratamento em saude mental coloca um impasse: Que operacoes delimitam bordas e responsabilidades? A construcao compartilhada de uma clinica ampliada para as interfaces da psicanalise e justica permite repensar praticas voltadas a adolescencia, cujo intenso trabalho psiquico visa a uma legitimacao social.

Consumismo, uso de drogas e criminalidade: riscos e responsabilidades

This article examines the theme of consumerism, its relationship with drug usage, with criminality and the effects on the subjectivities of contemporary society. Foundations are sought in the areas of psychoanalysis, Philosophy, Sociology and Law to analyze the complexity of the interactions of these phenomena, seeking to ground the discussions and policies that have arisen concerning the subject in a risk society. To this goal, a transdisciplinary reading of the data collected from interviews and group discussions held with prisoners of the semi- open regime in two cities within the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre was made, in which the subjects of Justice, drugs and consumerism were dominant.

Criminalidade juvenil e estratégias de (des)confinamento na cidade

The problem presented in this paper is an integral part of a transdisciplinary research project that analyzes the concerns of communities with criminality. The municipality of Sao Leopoldo is used as a reference in the analysis of the culture of fear related to young offenders. The municipal data reveals that the city has the highest rate of imprisonment of adolescents and the lowest proportion of non custodial measures in the region. These factors, in combination with a lack of information about these methods, place these youngsters in permanent risk of incarceration. In this light, the paper discusses the concepts of vulnerability and social inclusion. It proposes that one of the challenges to non custodial measures is that of social image, in which the poor offending adolescent is defined as a specific type of marginal figure, as a result of the difficulty in distinguishing between belonging and inclusion, between those within and those on the outside, between the exception and the norm.

“We’re All Born Naked and the Rest Is Drag”: The Performativity of Bodies Constructed in Digital Networks

This chapter discusses how RuPaul’s Drag Race (RPDR) fosters performativities in social network sites based on exploratory qualitative research in Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. The concept of performance is inspired by the notions of representation/construction of the self. When this performativity migrates to many narratives in social network sites, their semiotic power is intensified and can break the pretension of normativity. RPDR brings counter-hegemonic performances to a hegemonic scenario, making the constructed and questionable character of gender and the possibilities of construction/reconstruction of bodies and subjects visible. It is also noticed that RPDR generates something that can be seen as an explosion in a specific semiosphere, exposing, amongst other meanings, that, as said by mama Ru: “we’re all born naked and the rest is drag”.

O corpo como acontecimento semiótico: construções do self, perfomances e outras semiosis

The work is a theoretical reflection about the body in the condition of a semiotic event, from research developed in the Cyberevent Research Laboratory (LIC). Thus, the body is taken as a sign and an event that produce fundamental discourse in the constitution of identity and self. It also draws up a space that brings imbricated itself the possibilities of subjection of the individual or search for freedom. To be constructed in different media platforms, the body has its stepped semiotic powers.

Do Documentário ao Jornalismo: acontecimento, tempo e memória em Cabra marcado para morrer

O filme Cabra marcado para morrer (1984), de Eduardo Coutinho, problematiza questoes fundamentais na constituicao de uma epistemologia do fazer jornalistico. A natureza do acontecimento, as dinâmicas do tempo e as tramas da memoria formam os vertices que compoem a narrativa do filme e sobre os quais o jornalismo tambem se funda. O artigo estabelece alguns nexos sobre esta constituicao a partir da natureza semiotica dos sistemas implicados. O documentario adensa o jornalismo, dinamizando agenda e linguagem, entre outros itens e irradia pontos fronteiricos para um centro, via de regra, conservador.
