Abstract An equation is derived which rigorously defines the partitioning of inorganic carbon flux into alkali addition, calcium precipitation, production and respiration in fresh waters, polluted by the influx of detergents. The model has been extended to account for the modulation of oxygen concentration due to the oxygen demand of detergents (ODD). The equation is applied to two such polluted systems receiving detergent influx in the range of 50–285 g m −3 (as calcium carbonate equivalent). The flux in the various parameters has been compared with unpolluted systems and with laboratory simulation studies, to assess the impact of detergents. Given certain assumptions, the influx can be visualized in the form of an environmental stress, reducing productivity. The degree of reduction varies with the loading of the system.

This research attempts to design a robotic arm that can help doctors with biopsies which is guided by using CT scan images. This robotic arm will only need X, Y and Z target coordinate points as input and the end needle of the robotic arm will travel to that desired coordinate point. A robotic arm will be steady, accurate, precise and tremor free. This robotic arm has 5 DOF. Transformation matrix for such robotic arm is formulated using forward and inverse kinematics. Workspace graph is produced in MATLAB. Path tracing simulation of the robotic arm is done using joint space method and Cartesian coordinate method using MATLAB software and RVC toolbox. An actual working model of the robotic arm is developed using stepper motors as actuators. Experimental Testing of the robotic arm is done by programming the robotic arm Using ARDUINO to reach a desired point on the surface of an apple. Slight deviation in theoretical and experimental testing was found. The reason for error are found by graphing noise in the circuit in real time in LABVIEW oscilloscope using MYDAQ connected to stepper motor.

Processors play a very crucial role in every digital systems. The major blocks include the arithmetic logic units where arithmetic divider modules are frequently required for digital signal and image processing applications. SOC designers have to focus on the design of these dividers to increase the performance, accuracy and functionality of the processors. The division operation completes after several clock cycles which is more as compared to other modules in the arithmetic logic unit. This paper describes the architecture of an arithmetic serial divider. The divider circuit is designed using an adder/subtractor cell and non-restoring algorithm is used to the evaluate the result. CADENCE 90nm technology library is used for designing the architecture of the divider module.
