Stannylcupration of γ-heterosubstituted acetylenic esters: A new route to 4-stannylated five membered N- and O- heterocycles

Gianna Reginato; Antonella Capperucci; Alessandro Degl'Innocenti; Alessandro Mordini; Sabina Pecchi

Abstract 4-Tributylstannyl,2-(5H)-furanone and pyrrolone have been prepared in good yields by addition of mixed stannylcuprate reagent on γ-amino and γ-hydroxy acetylenic esters. The use of these compounds as useful intermediates for the selective functionalization of these heterocyclic rings is discussed.

Tetrahedron Letters | 1996

A stereoselective approach to the synthesis of aminoalcohols

Alessandro Mordini; Michela Valacchi; Sabina Pecchi; Alessandro Degl'Innocenti; Gianna Reginato

Abstract Amino alkoxy oxiranes have been isomerized to stereochemically pure amino alcohols, useful precursors for dipeptides isosteres, by treatment with the superbasic mixture butyllithium/ diisopropylamine/ potassium tert-butoxide.

Tetrahedron | 1998

A short synthesis of rigid 2-alkylthio-2,2-diaryl substituted acetic acids

Fulvio Gualtieri; Alessandro Mordini; Sabina Pecchi; Serena Scapecchi

Abstract The metalation of rigid diphenyl methane derivatives has been studied, aiming at the synthesis of 2-alkylthio-2,2-diaryl substituted acetic acids esters, a class of compounds with a potential antimuscarinic activity. Mixed metal bases have shown to be necessary in order to obtain the desired compounds with a good regiocontrol.

Tetrahedron | 1994

The synthesis of 4′-thia-α-santalene and 4′-thia-α-santalol through an organometallic approach

Alessandro Mordini; Sabina Pecchi; Giuseppe Capozzi

Abstract The 4′-thia analogues of α-santalene and α-santalol are prepared in a very convenient, regio- and stereocontrolled manner by using allyl type organometallic intermediates.

Journal of Organic Chemistry | 1998
