Mulheres no tráfico de drogas: retratos da vitimização e do protagonismo feminino

Resumo: A partir das historias relatadas por duas mulheres com um longo envolvimento passado na rede do trafico de drogas em favelas do Rio de Janeiro, este ensaio tem por objetivo problematizar a tradicional vitimizacao e submissao com que usualmente a literatura caracteriza as trajetorias de mulheres criminosas. O que as historias dessas mulheres atestam e que a possibilidade de ocuparem posicoes masculinas e obterem o respeito e o prestigio atribuido aos homens traficantes sao grandes motivadores para o ingresso e a permanencia de mulheres na rede do trafico de drogas. Neste sentido, e pela apropriacao de caracteristicas e comportamentos masculinos, tais como a violencia e a submissao de outras mulheres, que elas confirmam seu limitado poder. CONJUGALIDADE E PARENTALIDADE NA PERSPECTIVA DE MULHERES CHEFES DE FAMÍLIA

RESUMO. O presente estudo e de carater qualitativo e teve como objetivo compreender as questoes que perpassam o fim do relacionamento conjugal, a parentalidade desempenhada apos a dissolucao bem como as diferencas atribuidas ao desempenho dos papeis parentais sob o olhar de mulheres chefes de familia. Participaram do estudo dez mulheres maes que eram provenientes de grupos populares e compunham uma familia monoparental. Destas, sete eram solteiras, uma era separada e duas divorciadas. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas e grupos focais e foram analisados seguindo os pressupostos da analise de conteudo tematica. Os resultados apontaram uma vivencia na separacao conjugal na qual os parceiros transferem conflitos para a relacao com os filhos. Alem disso, evidenciou-se a importância de ultrapassar alguns paradigmas que permeiam a maternidade e a paternidade, dissolvendo, em especial, as perspectivas naturalizadas em relacao ao fato de a mae ser sempre a melhor cuidadora e o pai ser secundario na relacao com os filhos. It is a qualitative study that aimed to understand the issues that underlie the end of the marriage relationship and the parenthood performed post-dissolution as well as to understand the differences attributed to the performance of the parental roles under the eyes of the women householders. The study included ten women, who are mothers, from lower class groups and that made a single-parent family. Among them, seven were single, one separated and two divorced. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and focus groups and were analyzed according to the assumptions of the thematic content analysis. The results pointed to a marital separation experience, in which the partners transfer the conflicts to the relationship with their children. In addition, we evidenced the importance of overcoming some paradigms related to the motherhood and the fatherhood, dissolving, in particular, the naturalized perspectives on the mother always be the best caregiver while the father is secondary in relation to his children.
