The progress of semiconductor technology has enabled the development of small personal computers. The display has also changed from CRT display (large size display) to Liquid Crystal Display (LCD, flat display) , with an active matrix type color LCD based on TFT (Thin Film Transister) technology now available.

We have developed the new multi-scan display method without buffer memory which can realize low cost and low power consumption of driving circuits for TFT-LCD monitor. We have realized the line expansion display by multiple line selection or asynchronous line data latch and the dot expansion display by multiple dot data latch.
